Love this store. Every time I visit it’s a come up and I spend hours digging though things. I typically find countless cool items, gear, and records ( if they’re not picked through by the time I get to them—which is every store, but that’s the nature of the hunt—-See pics of gems attached). All for a fair price. Because the pricing is reasonable, there’s no need to do the disrespectful (typical thrift store move) and try to bargain with them like it’s a swap meet and not a legit business. That just shows no class—kind of like taking pictures of something in inventory and attaching it on a negative google review with some sour grapes narrative just to be nasty. But I digress…
In any event, if you want good vibes, family & locally owned thrift experiences that give back to the community they serve, Found in Fortuna is the spot to shop. 💪

I was a little disheartened to see a few things picked up at my yard sale for $5 being sold at this thrift store a chair for $19.99 and an end table for $49.99. I feel it’s shady business practice. This business is sticking it to the consumer by buying locally then marking it up at little much and selling to local people. I wouldn’t pay more the. $5-$10 for this table and I owned it let alone $49.99.
I was walking by going to get my pizza and saw it out front.
Thank you for the response, but passing along I don’t think is the case because I sold them and these people showed up randomly on a weekday and I let them in on day there was no yard sale happening. The sale wasn’t set to happen until this weekend. I believe you have family sourcing from local yard sales to bring back and sell in your store for profit and the price reflects that. Which is fine but be up front about it not shady.

This is my favorite thrift store in the Fortuna area. I never walk out empty-handed because there are so many goodies! Prices are fair and staff is always friendly. They have everything from new Free People pieces to vintage band tees. I’m always excited when I have to go to Safeway because that means I get to go next door to Found In Fortuna!

Best thrift store in town. It's my go to for post yard sale donations. No donations have ever been turned away despite how full the store seems to get. They have a pretty impressive record and camera collection. I wish they gave store credit for donations for broke blokes like myself. Got that family business, friendly Fortuna vibe

Leah is just the sweetest! You can tell when you walk in the door that this is a special place. The store is nicely curated and piled high with lovely things. Such a wide variety and good pricing too.

I have been going here since my first visit to Fortuna, to now weekly as a resident. The owners are so sweet, and the finds are just amazing. I recommend everyone to come look through the finds they have; there is something for everyone.

High value store, they always hook me up with the most fair deals. This is the only thrift store I trust. They have the best watches, best clothes and best hours, they are open later than any other in the town.
