We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding venue! Alan and Mari were amazing to work with—so responsive and accommodating to all of our requests. We went with their taco bar for catering, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was!

The space itself is incredibly versatile, allowing us to make it uniquely ours without needing to overdo it. The lush greenery already in place added such a beautiful, natural touch to the setting. On the day of the wedding, the staff was attentive, polite, and so kind, making everything run smoothly. The venue was clean and well-maintained, which we deeply appreciated.

For our intimate 30-person event, the space was absolutely perfect—not too large but spacious enough to feel special. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our day unforgettable! Thank you Fruitcraft!

Family and friends said they had a wonderful time at our wedding! The drinks were amazing!! Food tasted great! The vibe and atmosphere aesthetic is absolutely gorgeous! Very boho modern minimalist vibes. LOVE!!

My only complaints are the florist vendor I was connected to from Fruitcaft because of the constant asking of questions and concerns literally right before starting the ceremony. One is already nervous and anxious, so one can’t really make decisions. I had tried connecting with the florist through email various times to coordinate me dropping off the mirror Welcome sign. She was supposed to decorate the frame with flowers, not just put a bouquet of flowers at the top of the frame. At the very least place the bouquet of flowers in a presentable way facing the person look at the mirror. The bouquet was placed there with only a single piece of tape. I was also asked minutes before walking down the aisle if I wanted the real flowers on the cake. Of course! That is what I paid for!! Apparently, the cake vendor and the florist did NOT communicate, when I spoke to both (separately) and told them what I wanted months, weeks, and days in advance. Please communicate. At the very least communicate with the bride and share your situation (whatever it maybe in real time), but also I am paying for a service and it was not delivered the way it was presented.

Also I wasn’t sure which was my bouquet and which one was the bouquet to throw? I assumed the bit smaller bouquet was to throw, but it looked so much more beautiful than my bridal bouquet. The 2 pillar flowers pieces were gorgeous! <3 The cake was amazing btw!! Shoutout to PURE! PURE had put fake flowers on the cake. I assume because they didn’t want to leave it blank at such a late notice just incase. I love that! Just taking the initiative to work with the circumstances at hand. This is meant to be positive criticism, but it would be amazing if the event coordinator was a bit more assertive to get the guests moving from one place to another. I understand that they do multiple events a week and it becomes mundane, but this is my only hosting event experience and I paid multiple thousands for it. Perhaps other brides are assertive and know exactly what they want, but I’m not that person. I’m not assertive, so I am seeking the guidance and expertise of the event coordinator to guide me and make the process easier. Perhaps I should have a hired a 3rd party event coordinator? My cousin-in-law took the initiative and helped get things moving between the timeline, to the videographers, and photographers what to do and where to go. <3 At 8:04pm I had to remind the event coordinator that I was going to set up for the bouquet toss and the staged exit. Our photographers were supposed to leave at 8:30pm. As I did the bouquet toss (twice…someone that was married caught it, so we had to do a redo), the bubble exit stage was being set up which was good! The bubble soap was dropping to the floor, I was told to be careful. It was cool that they cleaned it up right away after the pictures and videos were taken, but again they authorized it to be indoors. I was fine with is being outdoors to avoid the clean up, but still thank you so much! <3 At the end of the day, everyone had a great time and is raving about it!! I had a great time after the ceremony! The reception was so much fun!! <3 Thank you!! =)

We just got married at Fruitcraft and overall, we had a wonderful experience.
Weddings are expensive, but FruitCraft allows you to pick and choose what’s important to you and DIY many components.
We started with less but ended up adding more as time went on - additional setup and cleanup time, a DJ through them, and another hour of bar time. Alan was always happy to make the adjustments for us! At the end, we had less people than originally anticipated so we were able to shift the funds to add an additional appetizer and the extra bar time. Even after our adjustments, we still spent far less than we would’ve elsewhere which was important to us. They also threw in the digital Photo Booth last minute which was awesome. So many fun photos!

The venue itself is so beautiful that our DIY touches just enhanced the aesthetic. The taco bar was delicious (everyone agreed), and the staff were kind and helpful throughout! Anna and the other coordinator (forgetting her name, apologies!) were great to work with and made sure we were happy throughout the whole day. We did the day of coordinator package through Fruitcraft, which was worth it for us. We always got what we needed, especially our food and drinks 🙂 it’s easy to miss these things when you’re running on your wedding day, so we appreciated being catered to and having private moments away.

At the end of the night, they gave us a bottle of wine to take home. We can’t wait to drink it and remember all of the positive feelings we had on our day.
We had a great experience at Fruitcraft and hope to go to one of their tasting experiences soon!

My husband and I had our wedding at FruitCraft in October and we are so glad we chose them as our venue! Over the course of 9 months, the staff at FruitCraft were readily available to help us through the planning process. From decorations to ceremony details, we could not have asked for a more organized and diligent group of people to work with. When it came to the day-of, we felt so taken care of. We were provided with a day-of coordinator who truly handled everything and made the day go so smoothly. While planning is a lot to manage for any wedding, the day-of went exactly as we envisioned it; we woke up and went with the flow. FruitCraft played a major part in that as they truly took care of everything from food to managing the ceremony itself. It was the perfect day in the perfect place for our wedding.

I had my wedding reception here and--wow!! What an incredible experience!!

When selecting our venue, we met with Alan (the owner) who was really friendly and straightforward with information. Once we had our initial quote and paid the deposit, we worked with Anna (the event manager), who was wonderful every step of the way. There are of course a ton of little details that go into this type of event, but they really made it all come together and the day-of was fantastic. The weekend of our event was a hurricane (in San Diego lol), but they were super proactive about alternatives and options, and we ended up staying dry and it all went well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We got tons of compliments on the venue/live-edge tables/gorgeous plants, food, and drinks from our guests. Aside from all the choices that go into wedding planning which are inherently stressful, they made it really easy by being all-inclusive.

I attended a wedding reception at FruitCraft and couldn’t believe what a beautiful space it was! The great, open space has several areas for gathering inside as well as outside. Tucked away in a corner of Hillcrest, this venue is an oasis right in the heart of the city. There are several spots for unique photo opportunities and the entire venue is so Instagrammable! Cheers to any happy couple looking to book this venue for their reception! You’ll love it!

I cannot express how amazing Fruitcraft was for my wedding, which took place on March 4th 2023. Due to family circumstances, I was looking for a venue that was willing to help me plan a wedding in a little less than 2 months. I applied for a quote around Dec 26th 2022 with my estimated price range and number of guests. After playing around with the quote, we thought we wouldn't have been able to afford Fruitcraft with the little time we had and decided to give up. That was when Alan reached out to us with an email and an updated quote that was even UNDER our budget! I got on a call with him and he assured me that they would be able to pull it off no problem. It was their "bread and butter" as he put it. lol That's how I knew we would be taken care of, and he even suggested things to lower to quote even more and didn't try to oversell to us on anything.

Alan and Anna were so awesome, always had great communication, and always made us feel valued and taken care of. The first time we viewed the venue, we instantly fell in love with everything. Although this was the only venue we saw in person, we were so impressed with everything that we put in a deposit the same night. Anna was so exceptional, she made sure every detail was covered and every concern was addressed. We decided to add vendor packages with Fruitcraft for them to contact a photographer (twopinesphoto) and DJ for us as well who were both amazing! Anna helped us set up phone calls with both of them and made sure everyone was on the same page to bring our vision of our wedding to life. They also referred us to an officiant and helped us with special requests for the dessert such as an extra cake for cutting. The florals we also AMAZING! We didn't get to see them until the day of and we had only sent Anna the colors we wanted and a few inspo pictures.

Before our wedding, they had also recently renovated the venue and we were the second wedding to get to use the bridal suite room where I did a dress change for the reception. It was beautiful and the mirror in there is awesome.

Our guests all had an awesome time, the food was 10/10, the drinks were amazing, and everyone was so impressed. We had concerns about the parking because of the location, but the DMV parking lot was able to hold all of our 115 guests! Some of them even said they wanted to host their own event there too.

I cannot recommend Fruitcraft enough for any event, not just weddings. Take the time to read through all of their guidelines and you will not be blindsided by anything. Make sure you communicate everything to Alan and Anna so no concerns are left unaddressed. The only outside vendors that we booked were our videographers, and Anna worked with them to make sure everything went smoothly.

Thank you Fruitcraft, Anna, and Alan for helping us plan the best day of our lives and a beautiful wedding.
