Gallup Station is a mixed-use space that has the train station (not the one in Yellowstone), a great coffee shop, a museum honoring Native culture and military service and a local artist wing that is guaranteed to make your eyes widen and heart pound. The 2d floor museum and art wing is small but packed with a goal of making an indelible experience for everyone. 1st floor train station and coffee shop. Take the elevator to the 2d floor. This is free. And it's worth it.

Parking is free, but concerned for my car. It's in a real sketchy part of town. The lobby is closed, the gates are locked, you just have to wait for the train to come and the conductor to unlock the gate

The employees are courteous enough. Don't understand why it's closed half of the week it seems like. But yeah t's a nightmare trying to catch the westward bound train as it's late just about every evening at 6.45pm.

It's very nice. It feels like a nice vacation every time I ride it. Because it's so comfy. Get there early to get the window seat if there's a lot of people going!!

Friendly staff, relatively clean, temperature is kept even throughout, the trains are usually on time (give or take an hour, because delays, angry people, technical problems, etc). It's not so big and spacious that one needs a map every 200 steps so they don't get lost, as long as one reads the signs. And there are a lot of those.

Rolled through on the Southwest Chief. Very calm, clean station. Folks were nice, knew we needed to get back on in minutes. Very cool spot on a 49 hour journey.
