This day was everything we could have asked for. We want to give a special thank you to, Makenna, Ireland, Lilia and the bartender (didn’t catch his name) you all helped make this day the best. Everything was so simple for us that we really got to enjoy our day. The entire team works so hard that you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The venue is beyond beautiful but what really makes it is the staff they are there every step of the way and they know how to throw a beautiful event.

Words cannot describe how wonderful Wedgewood has been! Down to every last detail they took care of anything and everything! Even though it was a bit rainy and too muddy to have our ceremony outdoors, they did above and beyond in regards to changing the ceremony to be indoors in the dining area. It was stunning! I however, was still a bit torn up that I didn’t get any sunny outdoor wedding ceremony photos. With that, they let me go back to the venue briefly after our honeymoon when the sun was shiny and the dirt wasn’t muddy, and they let me come by just for about 20 minutes order to let me get the photos of my dreams! Big special thanks to Amanda, Mazie, and Aubree! They help make dreams come true! If you’re looking for a wedding venue trust me this is it!

If you are hesitant about booking this venue for your wedding (like I was) DON'T BE! This venue is incredibly beautiful, the staff are so competent and helpful. The all-Inclusive aspect was not something I thought I wanted at first, I was sure I could do it all myself and I'm so glad I did not! There is so much that goes into planning a wedding and having your venue team be your planning and coordination team makes it so easy! They also work seamlessly with all their recommended vendors. So many people told me I would get asked a million questions on my wedding day and I have to say, I think I had to answer 1 question, the rest was just handled. More details below:

Our wedding was incredible and we were in awe of the Wedgewood team, how smooth everything went, how well coordinated it was, how many staff were there to assist with our wedding, how truly efficiently and effortlessly everything ran, so many of our guests noticed and commented on this as well!

The entire planning team was incredible leading up to our wedding. They were always quick to respond whether it be by email, phone, or text. I loved how easy it was to communicate with the team. Ashley did our initial venue tour and our first big planning appointment and was so patient with us! She always answered all our questions and responded to some initial concerns we had and followed up to make sure they were addressed. Thank you, Ashley!

Our Coordinator Austin: THIS GUY IS AMAZING! I never knew I could trust someone so quickly and I'm very type A and organized and he met my energy and had everything handled! He checked in on me and my bridal party all day and you could tell he was BUSY and working hard! I was so so thankful to have him not only for that reason but also because he had such a calming presence. I just knew it was all going to be ok. We had some outside vendors (dance floor, aisle runner, signage) and that all came together without me needing to answer questions or talk to anyone. Austin had it handled and shared photos of the setup with me throughout the day. We had a special request to place one set of patio furniture in the cocktail grass area so my grandma could sit during cocktail hour and I saw Austin personally set these up! That man seriously worked and really cared about our vision! Also, I should mention the amazing photos and videos he took of our day and sent to me the next morning. I was so grateful to have those! It felt like I had a content creator! My bridal party and family all raved about Austin, they noticed how much effort he put into making our day magical and we just loved him!

Our Banquest Captain Amanda: Amanda was on top of everything, checked in with us when necessary, even brought us water bottles at one point in the evening (something I desperately needed!). We had an issues with our late-night snack order from Domino's. Domino's claimed to not have our order and Amanda was right there to help us solve the problem. She first offered to send one of her staff to pick up the order but luckily the driver we hired also stuck around to help us. She then got on the phone with Dominos and placed the order for us with my Dad's credit card and the help of one of my friends since so many of us were preoccupied! I was so thankful to have her in that moment and was calm knowing we had her support. I'm even shocked we managed to leave the venue with all of the decor items we brought, I thought for sure some things would get lost because my dad was collecting them but Amanda and her team collected them for us and I don't think my dad had to do anything but grab the box.

The bartenders were also amazing! So many of our guests commented on how efficient, wonderful, and fun they were! Multiple of our guests told us the bartenders would have their drink ready and and waiting for them as they walked up to the bar! Talk about a way to make the night fun!

Lastly, all 3 of the Galway vendors we used (Soiree Floral Design, Bocakes, and Austin Music) were incredible to work with. I've written reviews for each of them on their pages.

We have photographed wedding at Galway Downs multiple times over the past few years, and we love the opportunity of working here! The venue is spacious enough to not feel crammed together but not at all too big to feel like it takes a long time to walk from one area to the next. With the fields, trees, the pond and countless other areas, great photo opportunities are only steps away. We are looking forward to photographing here again! ig @_themcfarlands_

As a parent of the bride, I was disappointed in the food. Appetizers were not offered to guests, but placed outside where it was windy and cold. The guests were in the bar area and wondered when appetizers would be offered.
We had a buffet style dinner. There were 6 salads, all placed at the beginning of the table followed by a tortellini dish, then a few vegetable offerings, then finally chicken and beef. I am not complaining about the food selection, but many guests complained about a plate full of salad and having to come back for meat (not Galway/Wedgewood's fault)..
The salads were not memorable. They were salads that you can find in any deli.
My advice is to have the wedding planner monitor the availability of appetizers. i don't know what happened to them, but we paid for them and surely they were not eaten.

My husband and I got married at Galway Downs on October 10, 2022. We had an amazing time and the wedding was beautiful. Mazie was our day of coordinator, she was great and very sweet. All of our guests talk about how beautiful and how much fun our wedding was. Most said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We do wish that the wedding was a bit longer for the reception. The day goes by very quickly, so we wish we had an extra two hours or so for the reception to enjoy with our loved ones. PS. do not book florals through A Family Tree Florist, I had the worst experience. My bouquet came wrong the day of 3 times. I settled for the last bouquet they brought but ended up using leftover floral from the ceremony arch decoration as my bouquet.

This venue is magical. We did photo and video to document a wedding here and the grounds were so perfectly laid out so as to position the bride and groom in a place where they wouldn’t see each other. The inside of the venue was so open, modern and somehow a touch of rustic that isn’t overwhelming. I could say more, but I am going to let the photos speak instead.

UPDATE**
We have had the privilege to shoot multiple weddings here and have been impressed both times with the venue itself and the staff. It has been a lovely experience every time!

This venue is a photographers paradise! So many different varieties of locations to choose from and I love all the natural scenery and views. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, the food was great as well!
