This place is a wonderful museum with your host being very knowledgeable and loves his job. He's very happy ? that you chose to visit the museum. It's filled with amazing artifacts and history. Let him take you around and explain what you are looking at. It's worth the time and is FREE to the public. The hours are posted and we found it open during the posted business hours. It may look closed whenever you drive by but it's open if it's during posted hours. My suggestion to the museum is a small led open sign would help people driving by to know it's open for you to visit. Thank you for keeping the history of the area!

I can’t ever catch it open. Clean and well maintained. Quiet area and interesting history. Would love to spend time inside but can’t seem to understand the hours or right time for it to be open.

Loved it!! I've live in this county for 45+ years and thought I knew all there was to know about the history, but I was wrong. There was some very nice displays and artifacts and the curator was extremely knowledgeable on the tour. Yes it is a small museum but it contains a lot of interesting and entertaining information. They also rotate displays and themes every so often so that it is not always the same thing every time you go. I am definitely taking my kids back next time.

New to Benton, Arkansas. Have finally visited the Gann Museum. It is small but filled with history and thanks to Cody who greeted us and his wealth of knowledge , I will go back and see it again. I am convinced that bauxite and the state of Arkansas won the 2nd World War for the U.S.
Amazed to learn that the son of Dr Gann invented the respirator. I'm sure most people here in Benton are aware that that the museum was built by many of the doctors patients in return for his services and the material used was bauxite.
We moved here from Florida and have lived here for a year and I have grown to love the hometown feel, the friendly welcoming people and the beauty of the Natural State.

Tried to visit but the museum is only open Thursday to Saturday, which is fine except I couldn’t find anywhere online where they list their hours. So call ahead I guess.
