My recent visit was to visit a friend. I've previously stayed here, and then I thought it was one of the nicer locations with pleasant staff 🤵‍♀️. They have improved. Very clean, looking from the lobby to the room. The snack area was nicely organized. I did notice the toilette 🚽 was extremely Low to the ground. For some, I can see this being annoying to get up and off... I just laughed. There is always a catch when it is affordable. Lol. The taco 🌮 stand next door is a plus +
Parking was tight but safe as my vehicle 🚘 has a motion sensor camera, and no activity was recorded. I heard people pay to park even if they rent a room. I would definitely have an issue with that type of hospitality. However, I was a visiting guest.

Very nice Hampton Inn. Convenient for visiting family in Encinitas and for things to do in the area. The room was large and clean. The staff was helpful. Jose was particularly friendly and helpful. Good value. Comfortable beds. Convenient - near the highway but far enough away that we didn't hear any noise. Got a great night's sleep. Good breakfast.

I just checked in and I’m already ready to check out. As best I can tell the reviews about this hotel are lies.

First, they put a $75.00 “incidental” hold on your card. Considering this hotel looks and smells like crap I find this ridiculous. Not to mention the location is anything but ideal. And trust me, as a Hilton Diamond member I stay in a great deal of Hilton hotels. Hampton Inns are usually amongst my favorites. This is not one of their best.

Next, they charge $15.00 for parking despite the reality that this place is a hole in a wall with little to no foot traffic.

Upon arriving at the hotel I immediately went the bathroom in my room to relieve myself. The bathtub is filthy, the toilet is old, and it’s just not some place I would feel comfortable showering though I had intended to work out.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

Lately my experiences with Hilton properties has not been great. My experience at the Hampton Inn Encinitas was excellent. Great location. The lobby is very nice and check-in was smooth and easy. Coffee available 24 hours a day. The room was spacious and in very good condition. Breakfast was way better than the usual Hampton Inn breakfast. Highly recommended. We plan to stay there again.

Nicest town in the USA. Unfortunately.
Super noisy room some kind of ventilation fan going all night!
They charged us $15 to park our car in THEIR parking lot after we payed $300 for our room. What a rip off.
If only there was a 0 star option in here or negative I would have chosen that for the room! The room is also equipped with an ancient air conditioning unit at the window that as well is super noisy.
These people need to step up their act.
Overall I’m giving the hotel a negative rating.
Going to see what kind of crappy food they have for the free breakfast now. I’m sure it won’t get any stars too. Next door sells $1.20 fish tacos. That right you heard me. They are top notch! I ate 3 and was full! Total dinner price $3.60. All other items on their menu are at normal price.
In summary don’t stay here but eat over there.

Lifetime Diamond member here. I had a one night stay. Hotel was quiet. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was really good for a Hampton Inn. Staff was standard high quality.||About the only thing that kept it from being 5-stars was that the bathroom was a bit dated and could use some minor repairs.

Room was big for the price. Clean. Bathroom was nice. Lot of places to sit in the room. Bed and sheets were comfortable and absolutely luscious. Mini fridge was actually a good size. Only 2 complaints really. The tv didn't swivel and you can't switch the input. Was also not directly in front of the bed. Close by a lot of places to eat and the taco shop its next to is decent and open 24 hours. Nice to have nearby if you're "celebrating" in your room and can't drive and get the drunchies lol

We were greeted upon check-in and the room was bright and clean. We were welcomed by every employee that walked by us. Our breakfasts were great, Fresh and restocked regularly!! Coffee & tea available all day in the lobby. Close to the places we wanted to go. We will definitely return here!!! Shoot my breakfast pics didn't post...yummy!!!
