Great place to do the shreddies! Track was watered to perfection. There's also a go-kart track and smaller flat track for the little ones as well as areas for off roading and trials-bike (skills) riding. Great park, especially for those who love to go fast and throw dirt!

Awsome place if your into off road activities this place is great they have track trails 4x4 parks go kart tracks mini sprint car tracks camping its a well kept facilty there is a skate park to i alwayd go for the pro motocross it dose get hot !!

There are basically two tracks here for MX. One for big bikes and one for little guys. Lots of parking spaces are available. You can bring your barbecues. Dogs are welcome. The bathrooms are very clean.
Downsides are:
Not a whole lot of trees, therefore, not a whole lot of shade. There is no good, long flat space for teaching Littles to ride MX. Lots of rocks. The state has changed the prices, so now, not only do you pay for Hangtown, you are also stopped at the main entrance and charged another fee for entering the state park. Cost our family of 4 (one rider, one adult spectator, and two children spectators) a total of 50$ for a 5-hour practice day. Sunday practice was from 9am to 2pm.

Hangtown is awesome! The racing is good. Eli Tomac kicked ass. Ken Rozen is doing great after his last accident. I recommend people get out and watch a race in person. You'll have fun. Wear a hat to shade yourself and you can get drinks on the hill and enjoy a fun day of race watching.

My favorite Northern California motocross track! The track prep is always great, well watered, and the flaggers are on point. Plus, it's world famous and iconic.

Had a great time watch pro mx riders race. Met few of the rider. Some pleasant so not so much. It was a hot day so I don't blame them
