Not only does this winery have some of the best tasting wines (Rose is one of my favorite) but the views are breathtaking. Glad I became a member! Love it out here 🥰💯👌💕

The wine has lost it's edge as a leader. The outside atmosphere was great but the hosts we below expectations based upon my last visit. I will be trying other wineries during my next tour. BTW: Lunch was fsntastic!

We had a fantastic experience! The wine is awesome. The employees (wine servers) were amazing! Very educated, personable. We also bought a clock for our house. We are so excited to hang it in our house. We have been searching for the right clock and ended up finding it here. Thank you for an awesome experience, and the views are beautiful!

Beautiful drive. You forget how many cool things there are to do in Sacramento. Had a lovely lunch outside and some fantastic wine. Plus all the staff were so nice and helpful. Totally recommend it. Just a great afternoon.

We were exploring new wineries and thought we'd try Helwig based on reviews. Their wines are on the lighter side but we found a few we really liked. The Zinfandel port is non brandy based and delicious! We also booked a lunch appointment and enjoyed having lunch on their terrace overlooking the vineyards. It was a wonderful day and it's a beautiful winery with friendly staff. Noah our wine server gets 5* for his hospitality 👍

Great location and views from the tasting room and deck
I like that they do concerts in their amphitheater
The wine is good overall
But some other winery's in the area offer better
But a good experience

Best food! Best service! Best views! Best wine! We love coming to Helwig! Try the Birria Grilled Cheese sandwich and the onion rings are famous paired with the sparkling Rose!

Gorgeous winery! This was our first time visiting Amador Wine Country and Helwig was our first winery we went to.
We got there around 11:40 it wasn't very busy so we were able to get right in for tasting. Our server was not very engaging so that made for some awkward silence.
We really enjoyed several of their wines and will be back not for the conversation or the lack of but for that tasty wine!
