Visitors rave about the town's quaint area with shops and food, as well as the occasional farmers market where you can find WoodSong Mushrooms, considered the best in the area. Spend the day browsing through vendors and enjoying the walk out of the norm winding through small pathways. The town is also great for families, with multiple parking lots and restrooms on site with benches throughout.

Many visitors appreciate the town's small shops and eateries, and note that it's a great place to visit on a weekday to avoid crowds. However, weekends and events can get quite busy. Overall, the Historic Towne of Smithville is a wonderful destination for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience.

A great place to visit when in South Jersey! Lots of small shops and eateries. Multiple parking lots. Nice on a weekday to walk around, but I am sure much more crowded on weekends and for events! Restrooms on site with benches throughout to sit and take a break!

Beautiful quaint historic town with plenty of small shops, places to eat (including ice cream), and a couple of rides (train & carousel) for the kiddies. Plenty of parking available in large dirt parking lot next to shops.

Great town to go for a walk in. There’s a lot of little shops and restaurants. The stores there are locally owned and one of our favorites is the peanut butter shop and the olive oil store. We love to walk around here on a nice weekend day. Our dog loves it as well, especially the dog boutique!

Everything was very nice except the store called underground, the worker or whatever he is had a very bad attitude super bad costumer service can’t touch stuff that doesn’t even say don’t touch! He will tell you to not mess up his racks when you’re trying to observe items to purchase! So run away from this store. Disgusting attitude

I love smithville! I visit every season, and was excited today to see the market they had going on! I usually attend for Italian fest, October fest, Christmas show on the lake, and during the May fest. On a whim, decided to visit today and what a pleasant experience . Lots of new stores , and what a great variety of shops. Something for everyone ! The Toy Shop, The Irish Shop, Peanut Butter shop, Pickle shop, Pet Bakery, and the adorable bath store in the church are some of my favorites. Can’t wait for Italian fest to comeback!

Beautiful and picturesque little area. Shop for clothes, food and many other items. Quite a few nationality stores. Grab a bite to eat in their restaurants or the food truck! The Smithville Inn is cozy and decorated so well. A lovely brunch to enjoy and relax with on a Sunday.
