Loved the history of the city and of Mardi Gras. The Dollhouses were also really fun to look at it. Admission includes more than just the museum, but I only had a limited amount of time so I did a quick walk about! Definitely worth the price of admission! You need at least 2 hours or more.

Do not leave Mobile without visiting this museum.
If in rush, it will take 20 min, worth your time.
Also, the ticket includes admission to Colonial Fort Condé.

Very nice museum showing Mobile's history and place in the world. Easy to navigate in just a few hours. There is space upstairs where they have temporary exhibits. We saw a showcase on the Hubble telescope when we were there in December 2023.

It was a great museum on its own. But the reason I rate it a 4 is because this was my first time visiting this location but I brought my family for a Halloween event. But the Halloween event wasn't a good one. The people who attended made the event fun. There was not candy to give out to the children. No activities for toddlers. The only good thing being served were the cookies. But other than the Halloween event
The museum itself is s good spot

Learned a great deal about the history of Mobile while walking the halls of one of its historic buildings. The carriage exhibit had some unique displays. The traveling exhibit was a bonus and a true learning experience. We were there while it was a little slow, so we could take our time to enjoy the displays and read the history. They have several hands-on exhibits for adults and kids.

We really enjoyed it. There are multiple exhibits. Very interesting!! Its our history. The museum is nice. It doesn't disappoint. You can see horse carriages, civil rights history and how far we've come, paintings, the history of Mardi Gras, the history of Mobile, and there was a NASA exhibit which had some interactive pieces.
