Having stayed here pre- and post-conversion to Holiday Inn Express, this hotel satisfies all my needs at an unbeatable rate. The nine-story building is older, but rooms are clean, updated, and quiet (interior noise is minimal but exterior can be a tad noisy, depending on which side of building your windows face). Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Free breakfast offered now is an excellent addition. No, there isn’t much within walking distance, but this is true of almost anywhere in Dallas—it’s not a very walkable city. Harry Hines is notorious for shady activity, but this section bas always seemed fine. The location is easy access to interstate, downtown, and Oak Lawn. FREE parking. Keep up the great work and improvements while maintaining the value!

The entire breakfast was really nice. You could tell that the staff took pride in their work. The room was clean, sheets and towels were neat and fresh. Hallways were clean and smelled fresh. I had a king size bed and usually I have to sleep on them diagonally so my back doesn’t hurt - not this bed - I had three wonderful nights sleep in that bed! The only issue was between 2 and 3AM, when a drunk guy who needed some attention was yelling and cursing in the hallway of my floor. Again, coffee was great and you can’t beat that complimentary breakfast buffet.

we had a great stay from the time we walked in the building till we walked out of the building... everyone was very helpful, especially the young man that checked us in. we mentioned we where hungry and he gave us a sheet with some highlighted places close for travel and good food. the room was great and comfortable, i don't think i have ever stayed in a room that had better a/c than that room, it was cold but i slept like a baby... thank you

The hotel on the whole is kept clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The housekeeping on the other hand leaves much to be desired. I stayed for 5 nights, the bed were never made properly, the sheets kept falling off the corners, the soiled towels were left on the bed more than once, the garbage was not collected and the night stand was never wiped down. We used the ice bucket and coffee station in the room neither or which was ever touched by housekeeping. This was all reported to the front desk on the first night of the stay but I do not believe it was addressed with the staff because it did not get better.

Staff was efficient we were able to check in quickly. Staff provided us with eateries within walking distance. We spend most of our time in the room due to catching a cold. Room was warm, very clean and king size bed comfortable. Breakfast choices are delicious, dining area is a good size with tv availability. Staff made sure dining area was always clean. I would recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and each time we walked through the front door, the same friendly welcome made it clear they really pay attention to who comes in the door (Great for safety reasons). The check-in process was quick and effortless. My fiancé and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway to relax, and this place was perfect—peaceful, serene, and just what we needed to unwind. We’ll definitely be back and have made this hotel our new favorite.

What a great hotel and a great staff. Daniella, the Sales Manager is always fantastic and so helpful. Rodney at the Front Desk has a smile for everyone and is there to help in any way he can. Uriel takes great care of everyone in the breakfast area. This wonderful staff along with the major renovations at this hotel make this property a true jewel. 3/2025 hotel is still under going construction and repairs.
They were having a grand opening which I am confused b/c there was still a lot of work to be completed. This was not a "grand opening" maybe a reopening. There was some painting going on but maybe repairs still needed and this was not disclosed on IHG website.
The desk clerks were very nice and there is an armed security guard.
There are some homeless that walk around the area at night.
Hotel is about 2 miles from downtown so convenient. Free parking and free standard ihg hie breakfast.
Lots of construction for hospitals in the area.
The lobby is nice and lots of seating for breakfast area.
