If I could give them 10 stars I would. My mom and I stayed here, last minute, while we took care of my Aunts estate. All of the staff were very personable and absolutely AMAZING during a time that was difficult for us. From the GM to the front staff I truly appreciate everything you did to help us feel comfortable and supported. I actually miss seeing you guys everyday! You really do feel like family and I hope we can come again soon! Love your new Canadian family ❤️

I booked a room with them when I had my home tented for termites. When we arrived, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They got myself and my 2 pugs checked in quickly and we even were offered an upgrade in our room. The room itself was, modern, warm, clean, and comfortable. They have gone out of their way to assure you have the best experience there during your stay. The management, Joanie and Niki could not have been warmer and welcoming! Their door is always open for help or compliments! ❤️. Thank you guys for the best stay in San Diego! Me and the pugs will be back anytime we need a room! Pickles and Bam Bam send kisses and tail wags!

To people who seem surprised at parking fee: the fee is listed clearly in the IHG app. It’s not the fault of the property if potential guests do not read. Back to the review: Anna at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. This hotel is an older property but is well-maintained and very clean! Housekeeping is attentive to details. Quiet even when full. We will be back!

The common areas are stark, but what you would expect from a stripped down mid range hotel. Staff was nice during check in and rest of stay. It was after that the problems arose. Upon leaving I accidentally left a Kindle on the nightstand. I called first thing the same day. Was told to call back in the morning 7-8 AM because I had to talk with "housekeeping". Called the next morning at 7:30 AM, and they told me that housekeeping was unavailable. They said they would check with housekeeping and get back to me that day. Nothing. Called the third day with the same run-around.. No call back that day or the last 3 days. A couple weeks later (after this review) I finally got a call back from the very polite and helpful manager. I finally received my kindle after sending my own packaging and return label to them. Revised the review +1 star. One last item: ALL parking spots are "compact" sized (no label saying this). Meaning a normal sized sedan has no space to open the doors.

Tbh this hotel has memories for me. My parents stayed here the first night of their honeymoon back in 1995 before going on vacation. They have recently renovated the hotel and it is by far one of the nicest Holiday Inns. The staff here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The GM Joanne and Nikki are so very pleasant, funny and friendly. The whole staff is kind, always smiling, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! ALL FOR THE RIGHT PRICE! Will stay here a million times over! P.S. Joanna and Nikki need a raise!

We were put in this hotel by our apartment complex due to a leak and the hotel was more than accommodating. It was a great location, nice staff, the free breakfast was delicious and different every morning, clean room every time we came back, and free appetizers in the lobby a few nights away week. Definitely will stay here again

There's a $20 parking fee a night that is not mentioned anywhere on the reservation or web site. When I checked in, the manager asked if I was going to park there. It's a motel! (combination motor and hotel) Of course I'm going to park there. The only option is to park at the Costco across the street. They know they gotcha. I traveled 1000 miles with a car full of luggage and we were staying 7 nights so I don't have any options except to stay there. So if you don't mind being scammed go ahead and stay there.

Update: The owner responded to my review by saying it is mentioned on their website. It mentions a $10 resort fee, so you would think that's where they would mention a $20 parking fee. But nothing. I still can't find where they mention it. I invite the owner to send me a link that mentions it. They got my email address.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to all the staff and the General Manager at this Holiday Inn location. We required a room on short notice while in La Nesa from Canada to take care if my sisters estate and they went over and above to help us any way they could.

If I ever went back, I would stay
there it's like coming home to family.
