We always enjoy our stays at Holiday Inn, but this location really set the bar high!! The employees were very pleasant, the hotel was spotless, and the rooms were beyond comfortable. The breakfast was everything that it usually is, but once again the staff is what made it a good morning...We did not use the pool, however we did look in the pool area and it looked just as clean as the rest of the hotel. I would highly recommend this location!! (Ottawa, IL)

We had a wonderful stay here, overall the staff were pleasant and so accommodating. The room was clean and cleaned daily during our 3 night stay. It was a great place for our family as the breakfast was delicious and hot for the most part. The coffee tasted a bit watered down, but we are picky about our coffee.

The hotel was clean and so welcoming! All the staff had smiles and were so friendly! The rooms were wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic. Check in was easy and great location for a hotel. We enjoyed our stay and felt like VIP.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. No bedbugs. The shower had some pink fungus in the corners and the towels were very worn with strings unraveling from the edges. Fix those two things and I would rate 10/10.

Breakfast was below par.
Drink machine didn’t work.
Hard boiled eggs looked like they have been in the fridge for 3 weeks.
Coffee is watery and no creamer.
Yogurt is expired.
Pool is down.

Rooms were nice though.

I had reservations at a different hotel chain but there were major cleanliness issues that prohibited me from staying there. I called IHG Ottawa and spoke w Joseph who was extremely helpful and accommodating. I arrived as a walk in and was warmly greeted by Joseph who preceded to check me in for 6 nights. Not only was I impressed by his professionalism and great customer service, my room was impeccably clean! The employees, all shifts including hskg, were just like Joseph-professional, helpful and very friendly. The hotel is clean, quiet, easy access and has a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend IHG Ottawa and look forward to staying there again in the near future! Thank you!!!

Great clean newer hotel friendly staff at front desk and breakfast. Easy check in, and check out. The person staffing the breakfast area was especially energetic and helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed.

Very clean hotel in all areas. The room passed all my cleanliness checks .. no issues. Everything spotless and no odor in my room. I have a standard room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Bathroom has standard amenities, including body lotion. What stood out to me strangely was the toilet paper. They have the best of any property I've stayed at, including luxury properties. Very cool.
The only complaint as of this review is that they have direct TV it seems, and they're in dispute currently the screen said with some channels. Therefore no ABC or ESPN, and I specifically wanted to watch tennis tonight. Oh well. I'm sure it will be resolved in a day or two.
I haven't had the breakfast yet but is included and seems standard fare.
Area is busy with stores and restaurants, but this property is back a little sandwiched between a car dealership and lumber supply. Seems very quiet.
Overall I would stay again.
