I started taking classes at Hugs Ceramics 2 months ago and it's been such a fun, enriching, engaging and creative experience. I absolutely love it here! I'm taking handbuilding and beginner wheel throwing instructed by Rebecca who is an incredible teacher! I can't wait to continue classes and become a member! Katie makes it such a comfortable and positive environment! I highly recommend taking classes and workshops at Hugs Ceramics!

This studio is the best! I just finished taking my first ever beginner wheel throwing class (6 weeks) with Katie and Gianna and they were both great instructors! They know a lot about throwing and glazing and can steer you in the right direction. It's absolutely worth the price considering you get all materials and firing included and each class you get one on one time with the instructors. I was able to bring home 12 pieces at the end of it and am excited to see how I improve. The energy is super comfortable and happy in the studio and everyone is so sweet. I will absolutely be signing up for another class!

My Fiance booked us a Date night - A Ceramic Wheel Class. This place was amazing! Katie the owner was such a pleasure and not only that, but she was an incredible teacher. I had zero experience and the entire staff gives you the confidence and the support the whole way through. This adult class was a unique way to spend time with your partner. I also purchased some beautiful pottery pieces done by Katie as well. As a reminder to bring an Apron if you take one of these classes (my fiance forgot to tell me - already hubby vibes) LOVED this place and planning the next time I can come back!!!

I took a six week wheel throwing course as well as a one time hand building workshop here. This has been one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had. The entire crew is great, they are all so encouraging and genuinely fun to be around. The vibe is totally nonjudgmental and really encourages everyone to be creative. And I loved everyone in my six week class! Not only that, but they keep the studio so clean and organized, as well as hold the students to a standard of learning how to properly clean up after yourself. It’s just great all around.

I just finished my first 6 week beginner’s class with Katie as our instructor. It was my first time doing anything pottery related. I love the small class sizes which allowed me to get as much help and guidance as needed. The environment is so positive & supportive. I had a blast! Great way to get out of my head and into the moment. Signing up for another round of classes with the friends I made in this class! Highly recommend.

Starting a new hobby is always a little intimidating, but Hugs makes it so easy. Katie’s studio is not only beautiful, but she has cultivated an incredibly welcoming, supportive, and lively community of people. When I signed up for my beginner's wheel throwing class, I was fully expecting to come out of it abandoning another hobby, but I’m already talking about future classes and pieces I want to try to make. The instructors are encouraging, knowledgeable, and willing to help you learn at every step of the way. I finished my class with beautiful pieces of pottery that I’m actually excited to show off.

Whether you're experienced, or a newbie like me I truly cannot recommend Hugs enough!! It's such a joy to walk into the studio and see people who are just as excited to be there as you are. Laugher and compliments are always flowing.
