It's nice to have a place to talk and be with others. I like the Arcata one the best. More table tennis and the people are more friendly. Not as strict as Eureka.

Humboldt Senior Resource Center offers a variety of information, education, senior services, assistance, programs, recreaction, activities & socialization for seniors.

Debbie at the front desk is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful & easy to talk to.

I just recently became acquainted with the Senior Resource Center. Some of the services they can provide are:

-Pets mes & wellness program

Senior dining between 1130 & 12e0, reservations a week ahead of time; take out on Fridays. People very friendly help you with any questions; especially if you want to make appt for free senior income tax. There a certain criteria to qualify. You can also call for more info.

So many services, so many patients, caring and competent people in one square block. If you're new to Humboldt County and are either a senior or family member make sure to check this place for direct services, help with taxes and a place to meet other seniors and participate in interesting activities.

Very helpful meeting with a PACE representative, I know more about my options. Unfortunately I couldn't attend my meeting with Adult Day Care, they had a case of Covid in a client.
