We were in town for a concert. The State Farm Arena is about a 5 minute walk across the street. This is literally the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the arena or Mercedez Benz stadium. The hotel is one block over from all the traffic and very easily accessible. The Georgia Aquarium is right out the front door of the hotel. Just walk across the street. ||Parking is locating at the hotel in the parking garage and only available with valet. The valets are very nice and accommodating. ||The hotel staff is very nice and the hotel is clean. Breakfast is better than most hotel breakfasts and had tons of options. ||The bed is not as great as other Hyatt's I've stayed at. It was really springy and not soft. ||Overall it was a great experience. I always try to stay at Hyatt when I travel because it's always clean and nice.

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Georgia Aquarium and because I’m a World of Hyatt Member. It was right across the street from the Aquarium and that’s where the “pros” end.||||The hotel is run down and dirty. I was not welcomed as a World of Hyatt member…or even welcomed at all! After waiting several minutes for the staff to stop their personnel conversation, I was asked “what?” The staff is rude and lazy. Our room was dirty and smelled like someone’s body odor. The outdoor pool was so filthy we couldn’t use it (which was another reason we picked this hotel). Also, if you’re planning to come back to the hotel after dark…don’t! You’ll have to walk through drunk and high homeless people and the hookers on the street corner. Once you can convince them you’re not interested in sex or giving them money, you can get back n to the hotel. The staff laughs about it and responds with “why do you think we keep all the doors locked?”||||We decided to stay in one night, since “happy hour” was advertised. Another no, since there was no bar tender. We were told, once again by their amazingly rude staff, to “buy a can of beer.”

The room I stayed in was very clean and fresh. The bed linens were clean and white, pillows were fluffy and fresh, which resulted in a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was clean, and everything worked as they were supposed to. The towels were clean and great smelling. Breakfast was limited, and my hot coffee was not very hot. One front desk attendant, a male, wasn't very helpful. The sliding entrance door was faulty. We were trying to enter, but the doors wouldn't open, so we knocked on the glass. It took a few minutes for him to get up off his rump and hopped over on his faulty legs to come assist. Talking about "do not knock on the glass," I responded with "the doors wouldn't open, and you saw us trying to get inside." Otherwise, this was a great hotel.

The location was great and the room was the typical Hyatt quality that one would expect. The staff was warm and again, full of the Hyatt quality you would expect.

The general managers however seem very disorganized. I was charged for 3 nights of Parking Valet despite not having brought a car there.

When I was checking out, I noticed and the staff at the desk that day said he would remove it. However, a few months later, when expensing my travel, I realized he hadn’t. Then there was multiple back and forth calls where finally one manager stated I could get refunded but they needed my credit card number since they revamped the systems.

I didn’t have my card on hand and when I called back, it often went to voicemail. I then assumed positive intent and didn’t want to be too insistent so I tried to call back monthly.

Today I just got through and they stated since it was over 6 months (I stayed 5/28-5/31 and today is 11/25 so help me figure out the math there too), they wouldn’t be able to refund me.

So now I’m just calling WOH directly but while I’m on hold I’m leaving this as well.

I love the Hyatt hotels. But this one is a dud UNLESS you double check MULTIPLE TIMES and get a receipt before you leave.

Came into Atlanta to go to the Aquarium. This was right across the street. Easy accessibility to the aquarium, cocoa cola world, centennial park and many more downtown attractions. If you stay here make sure to ask about their special discounted rates for tickets to surrounding attractions. There is also a lot of food options with in reasonable walking distance. The hotel itself was bright and welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean upon our arrival. Their breakfast buffet had a decent amount of options and was tasty. Parking was $45 a night but their rooms were already reasonably priced so the extra money wasn’t bad. The hotel requires key cards to enter the building, as well as get the elevator to move which is an added feature of security we appreciated. All the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. Overall very happy with the stay and will be returning.

Friendly staff and a location that can't be beat. This hotel is within walking distance to most downtown sights. Our arrival was late at night, but the front desk staff was friendly and upbeat and helpfully answered all our questions. Our room was clean and neat, and the pool offered a nice break. The hot breakfast was great too!

Great hotel with nice accommodations. Breakfast was always a treat. The pool was very nice and relaxing. The staff was excellent and all deserve a raise! They were always polite and extremely friendly. That shows and makes us feel special. The ac in the room was not the best but overall very nice. One huge improvement is we Wish there were more fish in the aquarium. We picked this hotel specifically for the aquarium we saw in the photos and location. Such a beautiful and huge saltwater fish tank, but hardly any fish… other than that amazing hotel.

Great location. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Major construction going on next door, but it did not bother us. Hotel was modern and clean and everything in the room worked. One complaint is about the advertising for Happy Hour. It claims "$5 FOR ALL DRINKS FROM 5PM-7PM". (See picture) The bartender did not alert the customers that it applied only to well drinks and did not apply to beer.
