Recently, 4 of us attended a sculpture workshop with Jim & we ALL LOVED IT! We didn't think we had an artistic bone in our collective bodies, but came away impressed with our creative results. Taking a class from Jim is a very inspiring experience. He is very passionate about his love of sculpture. That passion definitely is transferred to his students. If you do take one of his courses, it will be one of the most intense experiences that you will have in your lifetime. Jim is an outstanding instructor.

Excellent studio space, clean and well lit. Jim is a fabulous teacher with excellent knowledge of anatomy, the behavior of the clay, and the tools he uses. The first class I took from him, I left with a sculpture I’m proud of. His classes are a very enjoyable experience and I recommend them to anyone who is interested in portrait sculpting whether you’re a beginner or someone more advanced.

Such a great studio and Jim is an excellent teacher as well as sculptor. The workshop will give you a sculpture that will make you proud, and the information and tools you need to make more. I highly recommend it. Careful though, it's addictive!
