Fantastic gallery with so much art to see and there’s always something new to discover! Today for example John Natsoulas led an exciting tour of public art in Davis created through the years by many amazing artists including the Davis Mural Team. The tour is called the Davis Transmedia Art Walk and using your phone you can access interesting videos about the pieces along the way. A big highlight is that we caught painter Kati Thomson working on a new mural!

During tonight's performance by a visiting dance company, John Natsoulas displayed incredibly unprofessional behavior towards some of the dancers. When asked about it, he couldn't even admit fault, and denied ever saying anything to them despite the testimonies of the dancers saying otherwise. Utterly unacceptable behavior from him. Will never come back here and would advise artists looking to display their work to steer very clear of this place.

The permanent collection and current exhibits were absolutely beautiful, and there is an incredible spread of California and Sacramento-area artists. My only critique is that the building could use a bit of a facelift, but it doesn't take away from the art and for me it adds a bit of charm 🙂 Wonderful experience and worth visiting!

Large art gallery in Davis that showcases mostly local and Northern California artists. The displayed works are primarily paintings and ceramics, but little or no photography or video. They also host frequent public events, such as poetry readings, music and lectures.

I love this place! It's a quiet spot with local artist displays. There's seats, wifi, and free coffee, water, and tea for students to study at. Elevators and stairs are available but I recommend taking the stairs (if you can) because there's art plastered all over the walls. Arguably the best part of this gallery is when you get to the rooftop - you can see all of downtown Davis from up there! This gallery overall is a gem of Davis and a landmark place that I recommend everyone to visit.

Always a good collection of local work. Several almost hidden areas; feels like ascending an old house. Some of the areas are stuffy and difficult to stay in the summer, but make sure you don't miss the roof. Sunset views from the trees right at closing time. If during the day, you can enjoy the coffee shop and chairs outside by the huge cat and dog.
