I wished they would have empathized on how hard slavery was..they explained how they would rent out slaves and pointed in a corner of a chair 1 has made.. but didn't point out the impacts that slavery had on ppl who were enslaved..

Edit: The situation is better. Recommended as a place to go for the history of The Town of Clarksville.

Parking accommodations are not that well, but they decided the parking lot on the left is strictly theirs and posted a towing sign. Good job, sarcastically, of course.

I just want to say that the Historical Society is a great place to stop by in town to research family and local history. The people who work in there are only volunteers who are willing to give up a part of their day to help you find the information that you need. Disregard the other review on parking. I believe there to be ample parking down town and its better than what most businesses have parking wise in downtown Clarksville.
