Nice little piece of history in this exhibit. Over 100 wax figurines and a brief history of the city's gambling ring throughout the 30s and 40s. There's a free wine tasting after the tour where you can sample some of the original "shine-wine" that Al Capone used to drink

I enjoyed this place years ago but it really needs a facelift if it’s going to stay in business. They have very few updated wax figures, the old wax figures are in need of a good cleaning and the floors and ceilings are in dire need of repair. I still love this museum as a Hot Springs institution and would love to see the city donate to make much needed improvements before we lose it.

I've been to many wax museums so my expectations are high. I give this one a 4/5. It's a little small, there are a big flight of stairs on the way in and on the way out, no elevator. A person in a wheelchair or on a scooter could not go.

We bought the duck/wax museum combo, which made the wax museum super cheap, only like $6 add on. Good ac. There is a restroom part way through. The wax figures are comically bad. It was still fun though.

Such a unique experience. Unlike I've ever experienced. Don't want to go into too much detail, but I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. Pricing is fair as well. I'm glad we didn't skip it. However, if you have visited a wax museum in California or Florida, let's just say the experience is not quite the same. So don't expect it to be the same as other wax museums. I still highly recommend visiting. Also, wine tasting at the end is delicious. Fave wine was the apple pie, hands down.

Quintessential wax museum experience. We had a blast checking out the exhibits. But - WOW - they could have used a good cleaning. The building is its own tour and well worth checking out.

I've been going to this museum since I was little, and in 38 years there not a time that I can think of that I didn't enjoy this place. Now my kids love it as well, and I have little doubt that should they have kids of their own, then my grand babies will love the museum too.
