My friend Alisa referred me here as we went to our first sound bath Sunday night class. It was a great therapy session and made me much calmer and stress free afterwards. I decided to sign up for the week pass to check out what else they have to offer. The staff is great and knowledgable of their teachings. I have done somatic yoga, drum mediation and sound bath. I came here with an open mind and I feel great after a session.

The Kin Unified Healing School of Arts and Spiritual Healing in Walnut is an absolute treasure! I recently had the opportunity to attend their 3-month sound therapy certification program and was utterly blown away by the quality of the teachings, practices, and exercises. The instructors, Janelle and Jeff, were genuinely passionate and dedicated to ensuring their students had the best experience possible. Janelle's warm and nurturing approach was evident in every aspect of the program. Jeff, a master drummer, was an exceptional teacher who made learning drumming fun and accessible for all levels.

The yoga studio, led by Carol, Tritia, and Tricia, was simply amazing. Carol's depth of knowledge and calming presence made every class a rejuvenating experience, and Tricia's Yin yoga class was especially incredible, helping me to relax and unwind deeply. Tritia's heart-opening flow was challenging and enjoyable, making it the perfect workout. The Kin's yoga studio is truly world-class and stands out even among studios in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Hilda, a master curandero, leads a fantastic breathwork session that combines multiple types of sound healing to release negative thoughts and break up stagnant energy. If you can experience her class, don't miss out! It will change your life for the better.

Overall, I highly recommend the Kin to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of healing and spirituality. The caliber of the healers, the quality of the teachings, and the supportive atmosphere make this school a truly unique and invaluable experience. I’ve been going to KIN since it first opened. I can truly say I’ve grown so much as a person by taking the weekly classes and the mastery courses. I continue to learn more about myself, heal and let go of past trauma, and gained more self awareness and self acceptance. I love all the teachers! They’re very intentional with their offerings, and each class is unique.
One of the best things is they offer classes VIRTUALLY! I don’t know any other place that offers that. So if you’re sick, can’t leave home, or taking care of your kids, you can hop on Zoom and still have the best experience!

Being my first class ever, the session with Janelle in the chromonyasa sound bath was absolutely healing! It was a class I did not know I needed so badly! I did not expect to feel and experience what I did in the room. It was so intense, and scary all at the same time and I had visuals that were giving me anxiety BUT IVE NEVER FELT MORE SAFE to be able to release the emotions in that space. 🥹 I felt so relieved and calm leaving KIN. There were a lot of things happened in my life last month that I was so stressful and even felt depressed, so I decided to sign up for a Yoga class during the Spring break to restore myself. I found their website on Yelp and signed up for the $49 for 2 weeks package, and I went to different classes including Yoga, Reiki and Kundalini. All instructors there are wonderful and genuine people and I always felt I had been healed a little bit after each class. After the 2-week package ended, I felt much more better and alive! I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for connection and healing 🙏

I am a current member at Kin since early/mid 2020 and all I can say is THANK YOU. The curriculum that they have created has helped me tremendously in my journey of self-discovery. Beyond what any self-help book offers, beyond what modern spiritualty has to offer, beyond what most energy healing/wellness studios offer, this studio has impacted my life in ways I know will be beneficial for me in the long run. I have suffered with depression and anxiety for most of my life, and while these mental health issues are a lifetime of ups and downs, the studio has given me the tools to cope with them. With weekly classes such as breathwork, sound healing, yoga, meditation, the studio has created a space that welcomes anyone on a journey to better ourselves. What makes this gem even more special is that they cultivate space for community. I’ve attended a good amount of classes and events at the studio and every single time, I have felt the love, the commitment, the passion that every teacher, staff and students have brought to this studio. Kin is home, Kin is community, Kin breaks away from the stereotypical wellness/energy healing/holistic healing studio by constantly updating their curriculum with up to date scientific approaches. Without doubt, highly recommend to anyone curious of alternative coping mechanism, anyone who is in search of a community space for healing, and everyone else who is looking to try something different out of the norm.

KIN is such an amazing space. If you are in need of some healing and restoration, whether it's mind, body or spirit (or all) this is the perfect space for it all. I try to attend classes at least once a week to ground myself from the stressors of life and it's been so transformative for my wellness, my mood, and nervous system. Janelle (the owner) is such a passionate and dedicated soul! She puts in so much creativity and love into the studios offerings.

Also, if you're looking to build new connections and community, KIN is great in that by: hosting community markets, kid-friendly events, and healing arts courses to discover your healing powers.

KIN is for all ages and backgrounds. So do yourself a favor and sign up for a class or show up for a fun event 🙂

KIN is an amazing wellness studio and educational center with a beautiful community. The studio class offerings are really special and genuinely focused on the wellbeing of students. I’m so glad I found this place, I’ve already taken a few trainings offered at KIN and I’ve learned so much!
