I purchased quartz countertops from this business in May of this year, and it has been a horrible experience start to finish. The countertops I chose were slightly less expensive than some, but Jesse (the owner) assured me they were good quality. After they were installed, it was clear they had multiple rough spots on the surface and the slab bowed in the middle.

The installation (with Jesse’s “best” installers) was really bad. First of all, they did not check the plumb of the peninsula beforehand and just went ahead and installed the slab crookedly, so one edge of the counter is even with the cabinets and the other edge has an overhang. They also cut the slabs inside my home with no protection, leaving a layer of dust on my floors and furniture. They scratched my walls, the seams were messy and rough, and the installers truck even left oil stains on my driveway.

Customer service was nonexistent. Jesse is a snake oil salesman, telling me he had “fulfilled his contractual obligation” and I was too picky and hard to please. Unbelievable. Lesson learned. I am so grateful I only used them for a 5k countertop job and not a whole kitchen remodel.

We had a great experience with Jesse. He provide kitchen cabinets and granite top at a price the match the quality and workmanship. I didn’t mind paying a little extra to get what We wanted. Thank you Jesse for the help. We see you on the next project.

You will not find a more honest and kind person than Jessie Zamora in this business! We have used his services on several remodels and have never been disappointed in his advice or the work of his crews. His showroom has so many different kitchen styles to look at, touch and feel. And I dare you to find a vanity that is as well made for the price. Glad to find this gem of a place is still going strong in Sacramento!

Jesse is a crook. No honor no integrity. He robbed me blind and he would not hesitate to do it again. I stressed to him in the beggining how important it was for me to get my cabinets installed in less than 3 weeks. He promised me that he would get the cabinets in five days, and install them in 2. He asked me to leave him an 80% deposit, which I agreed to after scratching my head. He calls me 4 days later telling me that there is a piece missing, and that it would take at least 4 weeks for the cabinets to get here. I apologized and replied to him that i would need my money back. During this time, I agreed to have him install the tile at my home for 4.5 a square foot (not including material). He sent some guys over that did an excellent job. Meanwhile, I ordered my cabinets from somewhere else and asked Jesse to return the remainder of my deposit. He agreed upon it and asked me to come in whenever it would be convenient. When i did get the chance to stop by his office, he cornered me and caught me off guard. He went on to explain to me that he did not make any money from the tile job and that he needed to mark things up. He ended up telling me that he will only return 1200 of the 3268 that was owed to me. It was really hard for him to return money that he already had in the bank. He treated the situation like a true politician, and went on telling me that he did me a favor and that he was helping me out. The whole situation was messed up, but i decided to hold my tongue and let this one go. I had to write this review ASAP. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. There are places out there that would do a custom kitchen job that is less expensive. I got all custom cabinetry for about 2500 less than kitchen design expo. Jesse Zamora is a predator. instead of treating us like patrons, he treated my family like prey.

We went to kitchen Design and expo to get a price on a full redo of our bathroom. So they gave us a price on cabinets an marble counter top. They gave out a price of $10,000 dollars we found out we could have $4,000. Dollars at granit out let in Folsom .So we changed our minds and just did cabinets . Paid all of the price and they gave us a install date. They blew us off on the install date so I called to the offices and Jessey said when we changed our order there was no money in it .So they changed the date weeks later they showed up. We think they are all talk and no promises .Shop around you can do better then this place. Over priced .

Should have read the other reviews. Jesse is nice when it is convenient, then acts like he is the one doing you a favor. On the plus side, found a better granite selection with better prices at the building supply store on Elvas and Folsom.

Just went in yesterday to see Jesse and the new showroom. Wow! what an awesome place to get real kitchen ideas. I saved $3K on counter tops, tear out and installation. This is the 3rd job that Kitchen Design Expo will be doing for me. I had great installers and great customer service in the past. I will post again after this install to keep current!

These guys are awesome. I cannot say enough about how great they are. The counter tops look beautiful, the installers are very professional and courteous. We had them do the granite in our rental, and we plan on having them do the same in our home.
