Making a longbow at LAWS' bow making class was a great experience. And I am very proud of the bow I made. Eric and Nat provided expert guidance throughout the two-day work shop. The class was not a cakewalk but that is what made it so rewarding. I highly recommend!

I took the introduction to woodworking class this past weekend and I had a blast. The instructors Eric, Kim, and Maddy were extremely helpful and made woodworking easily approachable as well as fun. I will be taking more of their classes in the future and I highly recommend LA Woodshop to anyone at all interested in woodworking.

I took the Intro class and the experience was magical. Our teachers guided us through all the basic machines as we fashioned a cutting board. They went in depth explaining properties of wood and sharing insights of the craft. Most people came in groups but I had fun taking this class solo! Recommend!

I bought this class for my boyfriend's birthday after seeing the great reviews online, and I'm happy to say that the reviews were absolutely well-founded! It's a long class, but every part of it felt useful as we learned how to use several different tools and what their purposes were. There's a heavy emphasis on safety, and even though some of the tools were spooky, we felt so supported by the 3 folks running the class. It was a wonderful, safe, fun environment to learn in. I also was pretty ambitious with the charcuterie board I wanted to make, and the folks running the class helped me a ton to make sure I was able to make my design work. The board turned out beautifully, I can't wait to use it! Thank you for the fantastic experience! I wanna take the bow-making class next.

I took my second class at LA Woodshop this past weekend and I couldn't recommend LA Woodshop enough whether you're a new woodworker or even if you have some experience under your belt. Its great to learn from folks who do this for a living vs. just from YouTube videos! Todd and Maddy were phenomenal instructors -- both very knowledgeable, down to earth, and funny. They didn't mind lots of questions. The class was thoughtfully organized. There was great communication from the Woodshop ahead of the class. My project turned out looking professional and I feel confident I can replicate it at home now, too. 10/10 recommend.

Took the Intro class and fell in love 😍 Woodworking is incredibly relaxing πŸ§˜πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ and since I have been experiencing severe burnout this was EXACTLY the pick me up I needed. The instructors were safe, fun and knowledgeable. For my project? I decided to make a appetizer board instead of a cutting board, since I already had a cutting board. Now I’m entertaining guests with style. Thanks Eric, Brianna and Todd, this class was exactly what I needed.
