I took my wife here since she loves to sew. I must say, I enjoyed it, too! We had a guided tour of one of their lace collections by a very informative docent. There are unbelievable amounts of accessories and sewing notions. We spent a couple hours in the store and hope to come back some time for a more in depth tour of the museum! Call in advance for tours.

My friend and I went to visit the place out of curiosity. We were amazed by the variety of things that were displayed and sold. This place truly is a wonderland for the people who love sawing, knitting, crocheting, and all other textile arts and crats.
People who work there were very nice and helpful. The place has a very good atmosphere - unique, charming, and friendly.
P.S. We come to the place without a project or idea. In the end, we got inspired to make something beautiful.

You don’t need tickets to enter. There are some amazing pieces but it is also somewhere you can purchase trim and lace. That said they are VERY expensive!! Like $65-$200/ yard expensive. Everyone that works there was friendly and helpful.

Amazing lace! And a hugely well stocked shop of all kinds of tools, materials, books… good corset materials, a thousand thimbles, hundreds of scissors, infinite patterns for all kinds of textile art

this place rules. everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and they have a ton of stuff you wouldnt be able to find anywhere else. Obviously the lace is the main attraction but dont skip over the sick sissors shaped like wiches on broomsticks or the other tools of any and all kinds.

Lacis is one of a kind store where I find everything for sewing corsets. Their collection of vintage lace and trim is stunning.
They carry lots of vintage clothing from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The ladies are knowledgeable and truly into art.

Sewing nerds Mecca. Excellent selection of books, patterns, and miscellaneous sewing equipment. Excellent selection of miscellaneous other geegaws. You'll have to keep feeding the parking meters. The place to visit if you're into doing period costumes.

This place is AMAZING. If you make lace or use lace in your art or craft, this is the place for you. They have vintage lace including lace trim and even full garments. They also have all the supplies you could think of... And then more! There are books, yarns, needles, bobbins, looms, beads, hardware, trim, you name it! The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. As a younger lace knitter who is also a dude, it was really nice to be treated as an equal rather than suspicious. The museum itself looks amazing, I was too mesmerized by the store to get more than a cursory glance through the doorway at the Pina exhibit. Although I live in Seattle, I expect to return again and again. Thank you!
