Laurie is an amazing instructor. She is a hand on instructors which i think it’s very important for jewelry making class. Jewelry making is whole brand new ball game for me, and Laurie understands that where she guided me what to learn first in order for everything to follow such as soldering, prong setting, etc.. Although there are more for me to learn but if I compare to 2-3 months ago, i’m more knowledge now. I high recommend Laurie for anyone who want to learn jewelry making.

I recently had my first lesson with Laurie and already scheduled my next. Laurie is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. It was only my first lesson, but I felt like I had been her student for years! She will teach you what you want to learn. If you’re just curious about silversmithing, she’s happy to provide you a lesson to fit your needs. If you know you like this and want keep learning, she will help you build on your skills. If you’re already advanced, but want to learn something new, she can help you too! Laurie is truly giving back to her community by offering these lessons. I feel so lucky that I am able to take lessons from a highly skilled and nurturing teacher. And her studio is well equipped! I was amazed by all the different tools she has available for students to use. Classes are small, so you definitely get lots of attention. I am so impressed by my first project. Laurie helped me tap into my creative side and I designed something I didn’t even know I could! Truly amazing!

Laurie is an amazing jeweler and instructor. She is very knowledgeable in a large array of jewelry techniques and is willing to share it. She is also a patient instructor. If you don’t understand a technique she will go over it one on one with you helping you step-by-step. Laurie has a large workshop, which is very well equipped enabling those who may not have all of the necessary tools to complete projects. I recommend Laurie as an instructor for all levels of jewelry, making from beginner to expert.

Laurie is one of the sweetest instructors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!! I love jewelry, and finally took the plunge to learn how to create my own! I am so glad to have found Laurie.
