I’ll start this review by mentioning that I was very skeptical about coding boot camps based on discourse I had heard from some people in the industry and Reddit. I am a career changer who after debating for months about going back to school for a bachelors in computer science decided to go the bootcamp route. For those who might be having the same doubts, here’s what I have to say. It really depends on your situation and your goals. If you don’t mind taking a few years and going back to get a cs degree, then that’s probably the better option. As a cs grad you’ll have access to internships and new-grad positions, as well as having a shiny cs degree. For those who don’t want to spend years going back to school and learning all the theory behind computer science then the boot camp route is still a viable option in 2024, but it won’t be easy.

For those, who have decided that the boot camp route is where you want to go then here’s my review on LearningFuze experience. I have to preface this that no matter what path you take self-taught, boot camp or cs degree it will not be easy and you have to work hard. I think that some people especially during peak covid times thought that the boot camp was a quick and easy route into tech and its just not true anymore. LearningFuze does a great job at giving you the resources and the support to get job ready but you still have to put in the work. Doing the minimum is not enough to land a job anymore.

The instructors at the school are fantastic. They all have extensive industry experience and possess a wealth of knowledge. It's evident that they genuinely care about teaching and are committed to ensuring their students succeed. I was taught by Brandon, who has since left LFZ, and Shawn while the main senior instructor, Robert, was on break. They are incredibly helpful and guide students without simply providing the answers. Even now, after graduating they are always willing to help with anything.

I was enrolled in the full stack web development course from September 2023 through February 2023. It was a FANTASTIC experience. The curriculum is challenging, but necessary to prep for on-the-job experiences. Also, every instructor is attentive and helpful in guiding students down the right path during class. I also participated in a post program workshop where students were given feedback and assistance during our job search.

I had a great experience here and would strongly recommend anyone considering a coding boot camp to put LearningFuze at the top of their list.

I did an extensive amount of research into coding boot camps before ultimately going all in on LearningFuze. It wasn't that the other boot camps I visited were bad, it was that LearningFuze was just that good. I can't recommend their full-immersion program enough. The culture they've built with their insanely knowledgeable instructors really makes the 12-14 hour days enjoyable. Dan, the lead instructor, is able to break everything down to a very learnable level and makes sure everyone has full understanding of difficult concepts before proceeding. But be warned, the program is extremely rigorous and will push you to your limits. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend taking their two introductory root courses to get a feel for development.

If you're serious about starting a career in development, I always recommend doing your own research but LearningFuze's reputation as the best boot camp in California is real and they deserve to be at the top of your list.

LearningFuze’s part time web development program has been and continues to be an amazing learning experience. This program has been well thought out and includes in-demand technologies. I really appreciate that they offer this part time program, as it has allowed me to continue working full time while also pursuing my goals in web development. The instructors and staff are all amazing and truly care about their students, you can tell they they genuinely want you to succeed and help you every step of the way, including amazing career services. The program is intense and takes a lot of dedicated time and effort, but that’s exactly the way it should be and I’m grateful for it! I would definitely recommend LearningFuze to anyone who is serious about their goals and excited to learn!

Having recently completed LearningFuze's 14-week full-stack coding bootcamp, I can confidently say that this program is the real deal.
From the very first day, I was blown away by the staff and instructors' dedication to helping every student succeed. They were always available to answer questions and provide feedback, and they genuinely care about our success.
One thing that really stood out to me about LearningFuze was their flipped or inverted curriculum. This unique approach to learning allowed me to get hands-on experience working on real-world projects, and then discuss and review them with the instructors and other students. We were taught how to learn by using documentation and other resources. It was a fantastic way to really understand and solidify what we were learning.
The curriculum itself was comprehensive and covered all of the essential skills and tools needed to become a successful full-stack developer. It was challenging, but the instructors were always there to provide support and encouragement when needed.
Perhaps what I appreciate most about LearningFuze is their emphasis on career development. They provide us with personalized career coaching, mock interviews and job placement assistance, which is really helping me feel confident and prepared for the job market. I know the job search process can be overwhelming, but with their guidance and support, I feel like I have a clear path forward.
If you're considering a career in tech and want to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed, this is the ONLY place I would reccomend!

My experience at LearningFuze’s Data Science course was extremely positive. As someone new to the field, LearningFuze offered a safe space to have a beginners mind, be introduced to new ideas, and ask questions without judgement.

Zia, the head instructor, is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner. More importantly for the bootcamp, he is an excellent teacher. He helps you understand the big picture ideas before the code, empathizes with students grasping new concepts, and is very patient.
Sam, the co-instructor, had a ton of knowledge in statistics. He introduced our class to complex concepts, and helped distill them down in implementation.
Frank, the Data coach, furthered the support system and was readily available to discuss his experience in the field and prepared to help with technical Machine Learning questions.

My cohort was a few students, and the ratio of students:instructors was tremendous. The physical facility is well equipped and readily accessible even outside of class hours. The program managers Annalicia & Jessie were always welcoming and open to ensuring we were having a positive experience. All in all, I am grateful to have learned a tremendous amount about Data Science in high level way. I left with a GitHub full of projects, and feel well prepared to move forward in the exciting field of Data Science. Thank you LearningFuze!

I am on 11th week of 14 week program and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I was able to learn in the short amount of time that was in the program. Even if you have limited coding experience, LearningFuze offers a prep course to help you establish a strong foundation!
LearningFuze is a top-notch coding bootcamp. The program is designed to prepare students for the tech world, with excellent career services and dedicated instructors. If you're looking to learn coding and experience a web development environment, I highly recommend LearningFuze.

Shawn and Robert are not just great instructors but great people to be around. They both make themselves completely available for you when you have a question! I only was in Bretts cohort for 2 weeks but he too is also amazing! I don’t regret choosing learning fuze one bit!
