I feel a little strange reviewing a church. A church isn't a "product" or "service" to be measured or evaluated. Church for me is a group of flawed people doing their best to follow Christ. Lifepointe is this church. Pastor Chris' teaching is biblical and the church has a heart to serve.
I am sometimes confused by people that give churches bad "reviews" because of worship styles they don't agree with or congregants they don't get along with. If a churches' "style" doesn't suit you, or you don't get along with members of the church, go somewhere else! We are trying to win hearts for Christ. All biblically sound churches should be supported and applauded. If we give negative "reviews" to our brothers and sisters, how can we expect non-Christians to want to embrace Christianity? We can do better!
Lifepointe is a scripture based church that strives to be a force for Christ in our community and around the globe. My hat's off to the men and women that devote their time, talent and treasure to furthering the kingdom of God at Lifepointe!

Love this church, atmosphere, Pastor Chris is awesome and Pastor Derek. Started 1/19/2014 for few years, then moved across town but couldn't see myself going anywhere else though it's closer. So started back April last year. Drive is worth it to me!!

I attended this church for a couple years. Went to events and even a men’s retreat. Like many churches it is very cliquey, particularly the impenetrable music ministry. It is very discouraging for musicians to see the same people on the worship team every week, as it offers no hope for welcoming new members. I finally gave up and went to another church.

In February of 2021, my family and I started to look for a new church to attend. I watched several LifePointe Services online and was interested. Everything seemed good, but it wasn't until I went in person that I immediately fell in love with the church.

This church feels like a small church yet has great engagement, great teaching, great worship, and a great welcoming presence! For LifePointe's size it seems like everyone is involved in something, and there are so many great ways to get involved. From the first Sunday, I attended their Young Adults youth group and was welcomed right in. After attending the church for a while, I looked for areas to serve and there were many great options and I found one that I enjoy.

The worship team does a great job each week singing modern worship songs that are still deep and rich in the lyrics with a powerful message behind each song! Pastor Chris is a man of strong character and is incredibly welcoming and a down to earth Pastor. He made an effort to connect with me on one of the first Sundays I came. Finally, everyone there is welcoming, and there is a great mix of people in all stages and walks of life. If you are considering coming you can try it online, but try coming for at least 2 Sundays and you will not be disappointed!

It took a looong time for me and my family to find a church that felt right for us. This has been a heart warming experience to say the least. A very gentle approach to newcomers. Many groups and church events to look forward to!

After a few months of church shopping around the Elk Grove area, my family and I have decided to make LifePointe OUR church. The staff and members are extremely loving and supportive. We feel extremely blessed to have found a wonderful church that isn't too large or too small. We definitely get the conservative message of Jesus Christ that we need. God bless your journey.

On our journey in search for a new home the church was having Holy communion seeing this warmed hearts. We noticed that the pastor did not read from 1Corninthian 12:24, he also did not instruct the congregation to do this in a congressional manner. We noticed people we partaking the Holy communion at free will, it was not the entire congregation at once. My family and I found this to be very disrespectful to our Savior. After witnessing this that will be our last visit. I can only pray that your experience will be much better than ours.

They're so welcoming! It's not too big or too small. They have something for everyone including "Praise Moves" (Christian version of yoga).
