Great record store located on coast highway 101. Huge selection of CDs and Records of all genres. New and used records at fair and reasonable prices. Friendly and competent advice.
I bought some good stuff in the heavy metal section. Anyone in Encinidas should stop by here.

Not many record stores left these days. It's not the best-looking place out there, and it's kind of hard to find if you are not from the area. This place has charm, and it really brings you to the days of an old record store(because it is). There's plenty of vinyl records to choose from, classic older albums to current day stuff. Very good selection of CDs but the electronic music section is very limited. Very good prices on new and used stuff. Cant really go wrong with Lou's. Support stores like these. They keep our town interesting, and its much more fun to grab something random to listen to and collect than to mindlessly scroll through Spotify and not support artists or local businesses.
