The Manzano Mountain Arts Building rents studio space to local artists, hosts art classes, yoga classes and special events in their space. Local art can be viewed inside the building or in Cibola Arts (which is a short walk up the street) The Manzano Arts Council hosts the annual Sunflower Festival each August and has partnered with many businesses in the city to create beautiful mosaics in the Town of Mountainair and the creation of the Monte Alto Plaza next to the Salinas Missions Headquarters.
