Besides being a lovely person and a gifted jeweler, Maria has been open to making me a pair of earrings that were a little different from what I saw in her shop in TAOS. They were her sweet pea design, in 18 K gold, and made for my anniversary. We sat at her desk, and played with the design, which turned out be just what I had envisioned. She designed them, made them and had them sent in a very short time. I love them!

Maria's jewelry is always unique and for me has a special feeling. The appreciation and expression coming from her heritage is palpable in each piece. I am happy to know Maria, and happy to wear some of her beautiful jewelry.
