Awesome bike purchasing experience! I went in kicking tires and ended up purchasing a custom bike build a few weeks later. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and relaxed about the entire process. Peter and his team are the best. Highly recommend if you are looking for a custom bike or something other than a stock bike out of the box.

Expect some of the best advice, gear, and service when you visit Marin Service Course.

Peter has built, serviced, and fixed numerous bikes for me over the years and I've always been extremely happy with the service.

Also this is just a great place to hang out and drool over some insanely nice bikes!

I got undoubtedly the best service, advice, care and value at Marin Service Course, and a very good espresso to top it off. I also got to stare at an incredible assortment of gorgeous bikes and parts while waiting for my new wheels to be installed. It was definitely worth the trip and I look forward to going back.

Visiting town for two weeks, and stopped in to buy a new water bottle. The folks there were so friendly and helpful that I ended up walking out with a new GPS computer! Wholly lovely staff, and hugely knowledgeable. They stock a curated range of premium and boutique bikes and accessories, and it’s clear this is a shop for real enthusiasts. My only regret is not living in California so I could patronize them more regularly.

I'm not a bike racer, nor do I have the technical knowledge of one. What I do have is a really nice bike that I couldn't afford to replace if something bad happened to it. Enter; Marin Service Course. Laird and the gang greeted me, listened to what I needed and were able to take it from there.

When I came back up from SF to get my bike, they reviewed what they did, why they did it and made sure I understood. I would recommend this shop to anyone who has a bike that sleeps in the house vs in the garage because they really do care for your steed like it's their own. Plus you get to walk around and see all the cool s*** they have in stock.

I'll be using these guys moving forward.

Peter explained the technical components I was looking at in clear terms. They had my bike turned around quick & riding smoother than it ever has. If you want to experience a knowledgeable, rider owned shop...this is the spot.

Amazing bikes and very knowledgeable staff for all cycling disciplines. I witnessed them taking care with every person who came in the shop.

They have a real passion for quality. You could see some of the nicest equipped bikes in the world hiding in this shop.
