Masterworks is truly a special place. The pieces of art created here are those that will be framed and displayed for a lifetime. In addition, my children learned awesome details about artists, different mediums to use and history - they learned so much! Lisa is patient and so creative. I have know Lisa for more than 20 years. My children attended her classes and I was also privileged to take some of her adult workshops. I cannot praise her work enough; Lisa is so passionate about her art and teaching that she does an excellent work in igniting our creative forces. She makes it accessible to all and is a real master. I highly recommend taking her classes; your kids will not only learn about the art process, but will gain insight on many aspects of art history, cultures, and types of art.

Our kids took both the year round classes and Summer camps in their youth and loved them all. Lisa is kind, patient, and has an amazing ability to engage her students while incorporating art history into their technical learning. Our kids are now in college or heading there soon, but I still see Lisa's influence in their artistic abilities and creativity. My daughter attended a week of summer camp at Masterworks, called "Portraits," and came home with the most amazing, frameable pieces of art that she had worked on each day. Lisa did a "Watercolor Superhero" Zoom class for six 6 year olds over the holiday break. She does an incredible job of engaging the children, carefully instructing them on technique while allowing them to exercise their creativity. Lisa gave instruction and then looked to each child to share her work so that she could give feedback. My daughter's friends' parents were thrilled for a unique opportunity for their children. Feedback is that the participants shared what they learned with siblings and enjoyed using what they learned to complete additional portraits after the class ended!
