I went here and it was HOT in the afternoon. I bought myself a nice pair of sunglasses for $10 and it's not that bad. I got to see some goats and bought myself a drink to cool off. Highly recommend people coming here to enjoy the rides, the food, and just have some fun for yourselves and friends/families.

We come from Sacraento. We were warmly welcomed by everyone who was very friendly. Every year there is a celebration for the Hmong people of Merced and surrounding cities. There is great dood and many different vendors with lots of great goodies.

Good place for the family to attend. I was invited from Fresno to Merced to check out the grounds. The grounds are clean and well kept. The entertainment can vary but it can be better. The food booths are excellent. The staff are friendly and will answer to your questions.

The downside to the fair is that I could not hear the performers over the sound system at the Outdoor Theater. Also the other downer is the exhibits. I give it a 3 star rating. Rating it from 1-10 it is a solid six. It is not a bad fairgrounds but it can improve on the talent and the community working a bit harder to provide some better exhibits. The auto racing for Merced Speedway was OK not the best but not the worst.

The Half Dome hall was a very nice venue for our schools annual dinner dance. There was plenty of parking.
