During my three day stay, (church retreat with Faith Presbyterian Church, I received outstanding service from a few employees. A few of them I'd like to mention by name, Norma, Patty, Bety, Elpedia, Danielle, Dawn and Hilda all gave exceptional customer service.

Customer service is a huge party of why customers would like to return. I myself, will be a repeat customer and I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Though not myself a Catholic, I have attended several retreats in this sanctuary, guided by people of extraordinary vision, intelligence and compassion. In truth I could venture into any session, sight unseen, because I trust any presenter they choose will be of the highest caliber. The lodgings are beautifully clean, comfortable and serene. The food is delicious and the staff support absolutely excellent. The grounds are a lovely place of peace and repose. In short, Mercy Center provides nourishment for mind, body, spirit and soul, which continues to sustain and support long after the event.

I’ve been fortunate to attend John Bruna & Pete Kuhn’s 11th step retreats at Mercy Retreat Center in Auburn, CA three times in recent years. Always it’s a truly delightful experience! The private rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean with handmade quilts in varying designs on each bed.
The daily tasty & plentiful meals & snacks in between w tea or coffee or iced herbal tea are one of the secret pleasures after a few hours of meditation & lectures interspersed w walks around the beautiful gardens.
Topping off these highlights is a large swimming pool available for guests during the early afternoon hours.
Mercy Retreat Center is an affordable gem for many of us who travel hours to experience a few days of spiritual community.

Previous visits were lovely, but the attitude of the onsite manager changed from customer focused to adversarial. Sleeping rooms are adequate and clean, but quality of food and respect for group special needs has declined. If you have health issues, you will want to avoid the high additive and salt content of lunch.

I have been attending retreats here for 9 years. There was one time that I went and the food quality had changed. I noted this on an evaluation and the food immediately went back to its superior quality and has continued this way. I think perhaps the person above unfortunately hit that negative period. This is a beautiful place of silence and peace. I cherish it.

Mercy Center is a spiritual home for people from many different religious denominations. The Center has a full schedule of retreats and workshops, and some groups rent the Center for their own activities if they are in the scope of the Mercy Center program.
