My daughter loved Messy Makers! She started after her first birthday and is only stopping now at 3 years old because she's going to preschool. Messy makers was hands down her favorite activity, trumping ballet, gymnastics, library story time, and our nature walks. She would have gone everyday had I let her. It was also a good intro into structure for her with 15 minutes of free choice between stations (drawing, painting or dough), a 15 minute engaging process-based art project (painting, printmaking, sculpture, etc.) and art-themed story time with Ms. Amy before ending class with a little backyard fun to get some wiggles out on the trampoline and slide with bubbles floating about. Truly a fantastic experience for my little one! As an art teacher in AUSD I would recommend this class for every little one showing an interest in art. I only wish Amy offered the baby sensory class when my daughter was younger so she could have started earlier. Thank you Amy for the wonderful introduction to art you provided for my little!
