Went for the Hot Sand casting party and had a great time! I got to make three glass objects (about the size of my hand) in a three hour period. There were objects to choose from, like shells, small trinkets, etc. The staff (I think a whole family), are super friendly and answer any questions. As an artist I had wished there were more I could do with my pieces to put a personal touch on them but going in didn’t know what options there were. One guy brought in his business stamp which looked very cool in glass. There is a bit of standing around while you watch the glass being poured, but they served wine/beer and snacks and also played good music:) This is probably more fun every time you go as you learn more about your options. This beautiful violet chandelier was made by the son! The vibe is friendly and welcoming.
