The whole family absolutely loved Moore. My son was initially going to another preschool and we were unhappy with the service and were nervous trusting another preschool, but we are so lucky we came across Moore Learning. They are absolutely amazing! Frisha,the owner always makes time to talk and she truly makes each kid feel special and important. She hires kind, fun, experienced teachers and she hosts super fun family events around the holidays. Ms. Bridgette in the front was always welcoming and excited for each new day especially on the hard mornings when my son was sad for me to leave. I highly recommend Moore Learning to any child!

Moore Learning has been, by far, the best daycare center we've ever encountered. All the staff are incredibly sincere and the management is super accommodating. And the prices are right. We left the Bay Area (and its prices!) and moved to Elk Grove a little more than six months ago. We weren't used to the new track schedules that the elementary schools have here and were so nervous about after school pick up programs. Moore Learning has made our transition so smooth. They pick our 2nd grader up every day, despite his funky schedule, and he has a fantastic time while at the after school program. And our two year old adores her teachers. My husband and I highly recommend Moore Learning!

I love love love this preschool!!! play based learning is the best way for children to learn. the staff is very loving, kind and supportive. I am in a very demanding nursing program and I feel so absent at times and the guilt hurts after being SHM for so many years. They always send my pictures and daily electronic updates and it makes me so happy to see my baby girl thriving and happy. painting, learing, stamping. coloring, getting dirty even, all the things kids learn through and that we sometimes as parents don't have enough time to do more of! My baby girl is so happy there and it doesn't matter who I drop her off too or pick her up from, even though she has her favorites mom and dad, she goes to everyone and is loved by everyone. They also have the best meals of anywhere I have ever taken any of my 4 kids too. She loves the food! I feel immense relief knowing my daughter is loved, cared for, respected, taught how to be a good person and I never ever worry after I drop her off. She is there 11 hours a day. It's hard on us too, but my schooling will pay off and it's only for a season. I'm just glad the family we've made at Moore Learning Center was there for us when we needed them. We are blessed to have them helping to raise our precious almost 4 year old baby girl. I can't say enough about how great they are! oh! they also take child action and offer transportation...both very hard to find together! plus they support veterans!!!

Moore Learning is now both of our boy’s second home! The staff have been wonderful since day one with both of them (even on their toughest days). Our oldest is excited to get up and go to “school” every day. We love the learning through play approach, the individual support each child receives, the encouragement to build friendships, and the open communication with families. They have been rockstars during the crazy turn of events brought on by COVID, we truly couldn’t ask for a better place for our children to spend everyday! We are so incredibly appreciative to have such an amazing, safe, and fun place for our sons to grow.

My son has been attending Moore Learning Preschool since the summer of 2018. I originally selected this center because of the beautiful large outdoor play area, which is surrounded by trees and secured with multiple gates. The building is a very secure location, hundreds of feet off of Elk Grove Blvd. The staff and director, Ms. Frisha, provide a sense of family care that you just don't find with the run-of-the-mill corporate childcare centers. The teachers update me monthly regarding learning progress, what is going well, and opportunities for growth. Ms. Frisha has also worked to formulate an activity list for me to use with my boy in our free time, which has been a lifesaver with the current COVID situation.

The center works to keep parents included and connected. I remember the 2019 "trunk-or-treat" event that was put on. Teachers stayed after the center was closed, dressed in costumes and coordinating games for the children; other parents volunteering to decorate vehicles and pass out candy. As a single dad relatively new to the area, it connected me to other parents of my son's classmates and also provided a great Friday night event that required very little planning on my part! Really felt like we were part of the Moore Learning family community.

The current entry/exit COVID protocol makes me feel as safe and secure as possible. The children are all instructed to have their temperatures taken and place their shoes outside before entering the classrooms. Parents are required to wear masks when entering the Learning facility. Initially I was concerned regarding bacteria and cleanliness of the facility with the current virus situation; Ms. Frisha walked me through the cleaning procedures each night, which include use of UV Light Sanitizers in each classroom. Moore Learning's investment in this sanitation equipment and the staff's attention to detail make me feel much better in the current environmental conditions!

At the end of the day, learning is what it's all about. The play based learning philosophy that the staff incorporates into their daily activities has worked to improve my son's fine motor skills and problem solving abilities. I couldn't be happier with the quality of education and care that my son receives here on a daily basis. Don't settle for anything less than this place has to offer!

They are consistently short staffed and have attendance/turnover issues. The environment is not ideal for anyone who is neuroatypical. My experience was that issues they blame on the children and not their own environmental issues. This is not a good place for young children who need extra support. While distance learning the teacher at my child's elementary school reported the enviornment at Moore was noisy, chaotic and the staff were rude to the children on multiple occasions. They also reported much younger children screaming while the school aged children were trying to distance learn. I worry what happens here and am not sure children are treated with dignity.

This review is long overdue. What can I say? My son was going here about a little bit over a year and he had good and bad moments. They called me and said my son was not listening all day and they could not do anything and don't have the coverage for him. Well why was I paying $257.25 a week? Get the coverage! Well they just said one more chance and that's it well I didn't give that chance because I knew they would just call me again. I asked for my money back of the 4 days out of 5 that he was not going to be in their care since they are unable to care for him and they did not give me a refund even though it was their issue due to not having coverage. Why would I give another chance of getting called at work again? Makes no point might as well give me my money back.

If you bring your child to this school always get a receipt. Accountant PJ/owner accused me of not making a payment and having a balance owed from and I know I always make my payments. She then tried to get smart with me and stated that she is the accountant that she knows what she is doing. Well I told her she just can't give me a piece of paper that stated I owed money without telling me what week was missing. I was approached about this in January and it was from a payment missing from October or November. Long story short I did my research on my end and made all my payments and for some reason did not put my payment in their system which showed that I owed. She apologized after I demanded an apology because the way she approached me was totally uncalled for.

This center is totally unorganized and they have such a high turnover. I think this place just cares about the money rather than the care for the children. Do yourself a favor and go to a daycare that is organized, structured, and knowledgeable.

I was also paying $257.25 for full days 5 days a week even though my son was going to Elk Grove school for the first part of the day. So my son was only there on a regular basis from 2-5 pm. Day they called me was during their spring break at school. Yeah a lot of money for only being there 3 hours a day Tuesday-Friday and only a full day Monday.

Moore is a great, fun and safe environment for our kids. Both have been there since 4 and 6 months of age. They both love it and I would highly recommend.
