This school has the most resources of any I’ve attended, and most of the professors are great. But be careful where you park—tickets come fast!

As an architectural and landscape aficionado, I’ve been attracted by the art of design. Here at Mt. San Antonio College, buildings have modern interiors, typically visible at most any college campus. Outside, cool looking designs echo college campus trends of the last fifty years. Courtyard exteriors are accented by soft concrete edges of new-age attributes and natural gardening and rock.
I can also appreciate the emphasis on sports, not only within the school curriculum, but also with regional events of visiting team competitions!
This community junior college appears clean and well maintained, tho some of the common area landscaping seemed to be a bit sparse with irrigation. In times of drought, that may be understandable.
There’s over 400 degreed and certificate programs. My favorite subjects are available here, including horticulture, science and technology. There’s even an observatory and planetarium!
I visited here as part of the sports complex of events and was impressed by what I’ve seen, notwithstanding the overall student experience as mentioned by others. So I’ll keep positive on the visual and leave the inside scoop to those who are able to describe it, as they’ve seen it.
For a quick nature walk, I’d recommend seeing the Mt. SAC Wildlife Sanctuary, it’s at the southwest side of the campus, just south of West Temple Av.

Very nice Community College, very clean and well maintained. good access to parking, pool and other facilities. Would be 5 star but bathrooms only on one side of pool stadium... so 4&1/2 stars.

I really love this school because they have ACESS Program that help people with disability, Better Savings, and time management for me, It's a little far to my home where its convenient for me, Better life style to adapt on College life, had one of my best friend dad and his best friend they we're going to the same school together in early adult life. During Lunch time, I ate Tuna Sandwich and drank water because it was cheaper, healthy, and balance my daily living in a community college. So far, I love Mount SAC because I'm have a disability health for me, better money management and time, and for people when they graduate out of high school and they beginning into the next phase of their lives is adulthood.

My first year in college here, and i am taking English 1A.
I absolutely love it! There’s so many great programs to pick and choose from.
I will say that it’s a really big campus, and personally i still get lost. The cafe is always very clean and not to mention it offers different choices.
Over all the atmosphere is very inviting and everyone is bound to find a place where they feel like they belong, i know i have. Also a word of advice arrive to school like 30 minutes early because PARKING IS A DRAG !!

Attended a swim meet at the newly built aquatics center. This place was by far one of best facilities we have been to. Lots of seating room in the stands with a good amount of shade. The parking structure is right next to the pool.

I love almost everything in mt.sac. BUT what the heck is the parking I'm literally sooo done. I literally came to 30 minutes ealier for math class and I still cannot find a parking space. And I have to park on the day park which have a risk of getting the ticket like whatttttt there's so many people like me just drive around for like 20 minutes and just coudn't even find a parking spot. I'm sooo sick of this. Why can't you guys just add more parking spots for student instead of the day park or others?

I've been studying here for three years and genuinely feel Mt. SAC is just as great as any California community college in terms of quality of education and its ability to reach out to all demographics. Although, what makes Mt. SAC unique is its large, hillside campus, its proximity to CalPoly and Fullerton; bringing in special opportunities, and Mt. SAC's dynamic atmosphere.
Of course, everyone knows parking isn't all that great, but future facilities are being built to address that. Also, not all faculty are perfect, but definitely there are many on-campus services and groups that help you work and prepare in whatever fashion makes you feel at home.
