I’m not sure if this is a museum anymore. We walked over and ended up following the signs around the parking lot to the back of the building and then to the front and never saw people or what looked like an entrance to the museum (other than the ones labeled for a building. Nice garden area tho.

Really a very interesting museum, with an emphasis on the artists of New Mexico. We were particularly taken by the architecture and beauty of the courtyard: the day we visited was very hot, and the courtyard provided a cool and inviting place to test and collect our thoughts. The Museum of New Mexico is definitely a great stop on a visit to Santa Fe.

Pretty nice museum at the centre of Santa Fe city of New Mexico State. Both modern and classic beautiful and interesting paintings are presenting at the many different areas of the museum, from different artists. It has also a small yard with elegant garden, nice for rest.

To be fair I am not a huge conventional art person. If you like art museums you may like this one.

This one was short and had many of the typical items. There were a couple of modern / post modern pieces I enjoyed (their pollination exhibit was probably my favorite post modern piece).

Very cool museum. Be sure to check out the central courtyard when u visit as it is very nicely decorated and landscaped. Self guided or guided tour options available. Lots of cool historic artifacts n art to see. Worth a stop.

Another great place to visit when your in town. We have the best museums by far. You cannot go wrong coming here, great way to expose your children to the arts.
