I had the most incredible painting experience with Lakisha. She is a kind, patient instructor with great wisdom and insight. Working more with the studio (after finding out about it through the Sip N Paint nights) was hands down one of the best decisions of my year. Thank you for all you do!

GREAT!? We went as a "Girls Day" family fun day- I got all the ?women ?& girls? in my family- a painting day? together, for ?‍?Christmas!
We ALL had a wonderful time & enjoyed the fun? music? atmosphere? & painting together!?‍?
They are so NICE & FRIENDLY!
We didn't know what to expect, but we all had a terrific time! ?
I'd encourage anyone looking for a fun activity, to go ahead & call them!! All ability levels can do this together, with SUCCESS, and have an uplifting, happy time, Plus everyone can go home with their very own masterpieces!

LaKisha was perfect! Our family came today to do something a little different and it was so much more than we expected. LaKisha will make you feel like family from the moment you get there. She is an Artist for sure though she is so much more! The experience was exactly what we needed! The kiddos had the best time and were asking me when we were coming back before we even left! We are all so thankful for the experience!

With my daughter turning 13 this year, I wanted to celebrate her and who she is in a different way; right along with everything else this year... different. Searching for a black owned business I landed on My-T-By-Design. We met with Lakisha at the studio in September and we left super excited for December!
So, the day finally came and it was AMAZING! We’re still laughing and talking about it 2 days later. ?
The studio was COVID clean, safe, and set up special for my daughter with decorations and music. All we had to do was show up with our food/cake and enjoy.
Lakisha shined the spot light on my daughter covering all details, even adding special touches that made her celebration all about her.
This was an experience to remember for sure. What a blessing!

Wow, I cannot recommend this place enough!! I did an hour long art therapy session with Ms. Keisha and it was a transformative, deeply healing, liberating experience. She is incredibly gifted and experienced at what she does. For a very reasonable price, you have a one on one session with her where you are given the space to express yourself on the canvas. I’m not a painter by any means but I was amazed by how transformative and cathartic the experience was. Ms. Keisha excels at what she does, and she has opened such a beautiful community space for arts based healing. There is also a monthly open mic where you can paint and listen to poetry, I’ve had great experiences there too. Bless you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.
