I joined NextFab a couple years ago with the goal of investing in myself and learning some new skills. At the time, I knew that they had a lot of useful equipment (laser cutters, 3D printers, wood and metal shops) and classes. I feel like I got way more than I expected. Not only are the staff / teachers nice, patient, and extremely knowledgeable but I realized that I joined a welcoming community of other makers, artists, and craftspeople. Scott and his team are the best. I contacted Scott with a vision of my daughter's wedding venue lasered into a large piece of wood for a sign in board. What I received was a beautiful piece of art ! Scott took ownership of this project and created a beautiful piece. I highly recommend Scott and his team for any special items you might need. I will post a photo after the wedding. Thank you to Nextfab for adding a perfect piece to my Daughter's wedding.

Great makerspace. Perfect location for artists and fabricators in Fishtown and surrounding area. Unique facilities including a jewelry studio make it the perfect addition to the neighborhood.
