I hope you guys have some sort of plan in place for the Norovirus outbreak because you’re putting my sister and my family at risk. She’s coming from far away to do the orientation and she better not come back with anything. She was told there was a virtual orientation she could take. Even if that’s not true, you better think about it if this virus gets out of hand.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for this school and the amazing staff. They truly care about their students. I’m disappointed in some of the reviews because my experience has been nothing but great. Mrs. T is a wonderful teacher and makes sure her students are prepared for their exam. I’m glad I made the right choice in choosing this school! Ms. Jennie is also great! I don’t know how many times I’ve bothered her (probably more than any other student lol) and she always gets back to me with help. Thank you thank you thank you!

The greatest asset of Florida Technical College is its great professors and staffs. They are not only highly skilled professionals in their respective areas of expertise, but they are also profoundly enthusiastic about imparting knowledge and guiding students. Their commitment to sharing knowledge, promoting analytical thinking, and cultivating intellectual inquisitiveness is very remarkable. They make extraordinary efforts to guarantee that students obtain a comprehensive education that goes beyond the confines of the classroom, therefore eliminating the need for tuition fees.

You need to make sure you have no plans within your time period of each semesters. If you have a 9 month program or any others, you cannot miss any class or take a break like other campuses and be able to come back. So if you have a death in the family, get into a car accident, have some form of surgery and need to recover from it, going into labor etc; they expect you to be doing those assignments on your surgery table or when you're healing. Just a fyi. This school has turned me off. Another funny feature about this school is when you're needing to speak to someone, you just get voicemails and no call backs. Emails don't go to anyone and it's like they don't listen to what you have to say. But the minute you're fed up and done with the school, you get bombarded with messages, texts, missed calls, voicemails etc which is bizarre. Like where were you when I needed you..?

Started the electrical program in January. Started off fine but as time went on it got worse and worse. I did my core class and level 1 electrical class with some minor hiccups but no big problems. Got into the advanced class with Mr. Drury and everything has gone downhill. My first day in the advanced class I walked in and he was working on a totally different chapter than what we were supposed to start on, so for the remainder of the week I was teaching myself out of a book. As time went on I noticed that he does this all the time, so basically everything he is talking about is ahead of where i should be in the class (making it so i essentially don't have a teacher, I'm just teaching myself from a textbook at this point). On top of that whenever I would ask for help on assignments he either treats you like a dumb child that wasn't paying attention because you don't fully understand what your working on, or if you message him online he'll get back to you 2-3 weeks after the assignment is due. I called the campus to submit/make a formal complaint, when I told the phone operator who I was calling to submit a complaint about they winced and said "oh Drury... he's a tough one" later in the phone call I overheard them saying to their supervisor "yeah its another student calling to complain about Drury" which goes to show I am most definitely not the first person to have the same experience. In conclusion don't waste your money on a teacher that doesn't care because he could care less about whether or not I'm learning, he's just there for a paycheck.

As far as instructors go they are some of the best. Mr Drury and Alex were too notch with the information I received. However their financial department were some of the most uneducated folks I've ever met. I'm military along with many others there and everyone I knew constantly had to go there to get issues fixed which would take months to get fixed. The last two classes are online and to let you know, the actual time you spend in classes does not count as attendence. I pre did my class work but still showed up for class and got terminated because they said I didn't show up for two weeks. I go to get reschedule and confirm I want to go the next month, which the VA would pay for, but Ashley Ramos never submitted the paperwork and instead sent me and email asking if I took care of things with the VA!? That's her job to submit the paperwork. Now I just got a confirmation email stating I was terminated so at this point I would not recommend anyone here until they get a new department there. This is coming from an active nurse just trying to get further education.

They should have Professional Admin who know what the students is looking for before signing up students immediately and getting into a dept. I am specifically looking for help and ALL I'm getting is the run around with NO ISSUE RESOLVED!! WHAT IS THAT!! Teacher are great and other staff. But I DO NOT RECOMMEND SCHOOL IF THEY DO KNOW how to have people stay at work who know's how guide student well!.
