i don’t personally go to this school but i have many friends who do. they’ve all either transferred out of osa or are planning to next year for high school. they’ve all agreed that it is the most toxic environment to learn in. one of my friends who’s a dancer at osa has said that he is constantly being put down by the teacher and never has the opportunity to show his skills. i auditioned and didn’t get in and i am honestly very happy that i didn’t. i’m very happy at the school i go to and don’t imagine that i would be if i were at osa.

I am a sophomore in high school and I went there for all of middle school and 9th grade. Worst experience of my life. I was in the theatre/drama department and I never got a single role in any of their shows, but I did get many professional roles outside of school, so it was odd. They only cast the same people in every show they didn’t open up to the other kids in the department. All the kids there were always in little cliques and we’re very exclusive to others. The rumour about OSA is that the students are respectful to all different kinds of people, the truth is that they are very cliquey and rude. The academics is very bad I can’t remember very much of what I learned those years that I was there at that school. I must say I did have great theatre teachers who taught me a lot about acting, but the kids were just awful. I do not recommend going there.

The parent involvement is alive and active. Lots of great opportunities for young people to showcase their talents while continuing to mentally grow into new challenges being presented. !

I go to this school. I am a theatre major in 7th grade. Honestly if you are very devoted to your art then this is the best place to learn and practice 2 hours a day doing the thing you love.
