A very cute little store. I could see how if you were really into quilting this store would be right up your alley. I was however looking for fabric for shorts and a skirt. It was a little out of my price range. There was a good selection and the staff was friendly. They had some unique items in the store.

I am a Connecticut quilter who was traveling in California. I was ready to stop at a quilt store by the time we got to Eureka, so I decided to go to Ocean Wave Quilts. It is a beautiful shop with lots of fabrics, patterns, notions and mainly, ideas! I spent most of my California quilting money there, but it was worthwhile. The ladies who worked there were so helpful and kind. I can't wait to go back some day!

I was in the area recently helping my daughter move to the area .
Being a fabric collecting-quilting-aholic I make it a point to seek out any local quilt shops where ever my travels take me > I am so glad I stopped
here first ! what a great find , this place has managed to pack an
amazing amount of quality quilting products and ideas into one cute converted house ! The diversity in fabrics was incredible. I was in there over 2 hours just looking around from room to room then made a 2nd round to gather up some very hard to decide on choices .
You know I can only spend so much on any given day ! When we were driving back down ( central valley in CA) home I was looking at my finds and decided I might need a little more yardage of one of the items I purchased , and my second impressive experience occurred when I called this place and the people there were so helpful , and willing to take an additional order by phone ! in less than a weeks time I had the rest in my mail box ...
IF you are in ever in the Eureka vicinity and you sew or quilt take my advice and put a chunk of cash aside for this place , you will be so glad you did !
