Pretty cool venue with a thrift shop. Some friends of mine hosted an amazing event with some cool bands.

The free tech repair night is a godsend to a lot of the neighborhood. Getting free expert help fixing a laptop, phone, computer, vacuum cleaner... I've seen it all. Ceecee's handling of the textile repair center is also really cool.

Thanks to the Free Shop, I have clothing. My stuff burned when our apartment burned up due to electrical fire. It's run by volunteers and they are bad-axx!

Great potential.
I have marketing concepts to share. However there seems to be lacking a working PHONE NUMBER. ().
Now in the meantime, there is a serious issue with misuse of the kindly operated Town Fridge at this location. Vehicles are pulling up, emptying out the fridge, and in conjunction with that, someone who claims to be a *volunteer* is HOARDING foods inside Omni, and deciding who should get it. Reminder that foods donated to Omni are for individuals coming over to get some, not for people who stack box after box of foods hoarded inside Omni by this *volunteer*. Let me point out that if someone actually is a legitimate food distribution provider, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GET FOODS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY FOOD DISTRIBUTION CENTERS...Or, they can establish a working relationship with local grocers, farmers markets, chain food stores, etc. From these, legitimate food helpers get their vehicles loaded up with food to put INTO Fridges, , or pantries.
What is happening instead is that these characters are STEALING from the Fridges, apparently because they are too friggin lazy to get boxes legitimately, and THEN stock Fridges and pantries. It is disgusting. The Fridges are then left almost empty. It NEEDS TO STOP.

Truly disgusting on the inside and the people here are unprofessional and dangerous. Rats, dirt, uncleanness bathrooms etc. Myself and others have experienced extreme racism here as well from the people in charge.

Glad to see this place is still kicking, As a kid, (mid 1960s) this was the Ligure Club. Started in 1934 by Italian immigrants from the province of Liguria Italy (main city is Genoa). My Gramps was a member. I went there for weddings, anniversaries, celebratory Italian dinners in the basement, and the inside bocce ball court. The main floor is where I learned to waltz with Grandma.

This building houses some very cool organizations. I worked with Phat Beets for a bit and when I went here, I was amazed. The information in this one spot will blow your mind.

Wow, just learned about what's going on in this building. Shameful racism and discrimination happening here!
