The event space is perfect for small and large events. They have clean, well lit, and properly located rooms for breakout meetings.

The food was good, but was not great.

Parking is free on the street. The large parking lot was being used for a car show or car sale. It was a little frustrating not having that parking lot available for usage during the conference.

Gorgeous and spacious convention center. Large and clean bathrooms, ballrooms and hallways. Inside there are dedicated spaces with charging stations for multiple people to use at once. The bathrooms were pretty clean considering the how many people were there at the time. For the last six years I’ve visited 7-10 cheer comps per year at various convention centers all over the United States. This is probably the most aesthetically pleasing one I’ve ever seen. It’s big enough to host a lot of people without being cramped up at all! They utilize the inside and outdoor is their facility to host so there’s plenty of seating all around. I loved seeing the beautiful mountains as we waited for the awards and the palm trees all lit up at night.

Across the street is the parking garage that is just as long as the center itself. Super convenient.
Parking was 10.00 for cheer competition, cash only!

The location is close enough to walk to nearby restaurants which is an added benefit if you’ll be around all day like we were.

The facility is beautiful but small. My main problem with this facility was the fact that with a cheer competition in the house, some of the restrooms had no toilet paper the entire weekend. I don't mean just a stall or two in the restroom - I mean the entire restroom. I think the only restroom that had toilet paper was the one in front.

Not a very big convention centre but laid out fairly well. Easy to navigate and quite central in Palm Springs. It's attached to a hotel so larger conventions seem to use some of those rooms as well.

The location was fine but the dedicated food service staff here was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I attended a conference with a paid breakfast. They were checking tickets at the door and you couldn't get in without one. Which was fine. But they didn't have enough seats to accommodate everyone at the tables with place settings. Many guests had their bags occupying empty chairs, and some were just to cramped to fit another person. There were numerous empty tables with no place settings and the staff said they were for "overflow" for people with no tickets... who they weren't allowing in. Which explains why they were completely empty. They seemed unable to understand the obvious logical fallacy of reserving tables for people who don't exist and equally incapable of appreciating the obvious need to improvise in this scenario. Me and several from my party wandered the hall for nearly ten minutes along with numerous other attendees and couldn't find a suitable spot, but the staff refused to give anyone silverware. You could hear numerous arguments all over the hall between attendees and staff who were refusing to provide silverware. It was awkward but I eventually stole a set of silverware from a table that had an unused place setting but was too cramped for me to sit down and I took it to one of the unused tables. At that point one of the staff managers came over and started harassing us and arguing about there being space and just flatly contradicting us and insisting that our experience walking around for 10 minutes was all in our heads. Multiple people at the table pushed back on it and were visibly taken aback at the bizarrely hostile manner he was addressing us for no apparent reason. No one was using the tables. They served no purpose outside of his overactive imagination. We had paid extra for breakfast that was now cold. And because we were at the "wrong" tables they refused to serve us the beverages we'd paid for. A lot of people in the exhibit hall were talking about it afterward and all remarking on the combative & unhelpful attitude of the staff and how their collective attitude defied explanation. On the second day they they relented and put out silverware, but not before they'd already pissed off half the attendees. I would definitely not recommend this venue.

Beautiful building and a lovely spot for a conference. The layout was great. I liked the park across the street. The interior had lots of space and high ceilings. Lots of rock and wood to blend in with the scenery.

While there, the food and amenities associated with the conference we're excellent. The lunches were very tasty. Great coffee. Nice snacks. They did a great job!

The Palm Springs Convention Center is a nice place for a smaller convention or conference. The building is handsome and functional, the facilities are convenient, the staff are friendly. I had good Wifi, but I don't know if that was from the conference host or the convention center. Anyway, no complaints about the facility.

Visually, this hotel is stunning. We love the Barbie displays in the lobby and all the colors. The updates happened about a dozen years ago, so everything‘s looking a little tired now. I think they need better groundskeepers as we saw beer cans, and what-not thrown into the bushes and some of the garden beds need to be tidied up and weeded with new rocks put down. And apparently the Palm Springs noise ordinance is not in effect here as they piped loud music by the pool, all night and day, and then, during the drag brunches, they had speakers outside so everyone in the hotel complex could hear the drag, queens, singing, and all the bachelorette parties screeching at the top of their lungs. We attended a lecture by the designers, and learned that the bright colors are actually colors of the desert when it is in bloom, and we found that fascinating. We love the idea behind the hotel, it’s just that it needs an update I think at this point. The purple carpet in our hotel room needed rest stretching, and the vinyl flooring in the bathroom was chipped, scratched and discolored, plus the room had a bad smell. Other than that, the linens were clean, and it seemed to be a good value for Palm Springs.
