So much information in a local small town museum. The curators for the curious were pleasant and knowledgeable. Entertaining as well. There are some displays outside don't forget to go through the door to see them. Sign in to the guest book. Entry is free. Please buy something or leave a donation before you exit to support this museum.

At first I wasn’t too sure about this museum and once I went inside I learned a lot about the town and the following towns around it. It was a very nice experience and the staff was very informative and it kind of felt that I was getting my own private tour there is no admission but there is a donation box I would probably come back to check it out again. I ended up having a full-blown conversation with the host, she is a very lovely woman welcomed me with a kind heart and was more than happy to answer any questions I had.

We've found as we travel around the country the smaller town museums held some of the most interesting history. This one was no exception.

Neat museum. Lots of history, interesting photos of the area’s towns, and antiques used by people who lived in the area. If you’re in the area, you should certainly visit!

One of the best centers for local history that I have ever visited. The collection is amazing, poenty of info on everything from the intaglios to the river boats, petroglyphs and more. But the best part is the people, and the stories they tell. It is a true, living depository of local knowledge. ?
