We moved to El Dorado Hills 8 years ago when our daughters were 5 and 7. One of the first things that we did was find a dance studio for them to continue their training. We are grateful to have found Miss Pam and her studio. Our youngest is still there. In addition to my wife and I, Miss Pam, Miss Zara and others at the studio, including her friends and mentors, have done as much or more than anyone to shape her into the confident person that she is, both on and off the dance floor. We will always be grateful.

I am a member of the company at Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet and have danced at this studio for about 10 years at this studio. It is my home away from home and like my second family. Ms. Pam is a wonderful teacher who has danced professionally and now teaches classical ballet from her training with the Royal Ballet in England. Her training is detailed, customized for each dancer’s body type, and she really cares about her students development. Her daughter, Zara is also one of the most loving and caring teachers with a great eye for correcting details to elevate a dancer to become the best version of themselves. I highly recommend training at this school in order to receive a solid foundation in ballet. Many of Ms. Pam’s students have gone on to have professional careers in ballet. I personally have so many fond memories of participating in Ms. Pam’s performances such as The Nutcracker at the Harris Center. Last year she got us through the whole production beautifully. I cannot wait to participate in The Nutcracker 2022 with the live symphony again. They are fabulous. Covid19 has been difficult for dancers everywhere and to be able to perform again means so much more to me personally this year than ever before. I highly recommend this performance and hope everyone near and far comes to see us dance from our hearts.

My daughter has been dancing with Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet since she was 3 yrs old. She has grown to be a beautiful dancer, has learned discipline, and developed life long friendships! Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet is a wonderful studio. I trained there for about 8 years under the personal and professional training of Pam. Her Nutcracker productions are of the upmost quality and are always her students’ favorite memories. I have nothing but the highest praise for this ballet school. Because of it, I have learned the value and reward of hard work, patience, and discipline, as well as having the opportunity to dance alongside encouraging friends. Many of Pam’s students went on to have successful careers in ballet, while others simply danced under her instruction for pleasure and for her quality teaching. Either way, Pam diligently teaches her students from the foundation of her personal experience at the Royal Ballet.

As a student of Ms. Pamela Hayes’s for more than 7 years and currently a member of her company class, I must say that the training that I have gotten from Ms. Pam is classical, pure, and very professional, and it is definitely not a just a “recreational” dance studio. She does not teach only the movements and techniques of ballet, but also an immense amount of dedication, hard work ethic, perseverance, and so much more. I always look forward to being at ballet class every night, seeing all the other lovely dancers; I couldn’t ask for a better group of friends. Even if conflicts arise between us or other classes, Ms. Pam is very willing to listen and work out the conflict. Every year’s production of The Nutcracker receives much attention from Ms. Pamela and her students to bring the best experience for our audience; rehearsals are conducted almost every night and every weekend for several hours. Her dancers who have gone on to pursue dance as a career have all been very successful, and many of them would not hesitate to come back and say hello.

My daughter started when she was 3yrs old, and has been with Ms. Pam for 8yrs. The approached for training the little ones is slow in the beginning to avoid injury and to train muscle memory. Then, at certain age, the girls learns great dancing techniques that you will find gracefulness as they dances ballet. Ms. Pam has so much patience in teaching from 3yrs. to adult yrs. Thank you for bringing Nutcracker here in Folsom every year.

Pamela also provides a warm, supportive environment for her students where her students learn life long lessons such as dedication, work ethic and passion for the arts.
