Located right by the shore, overlooking the water and the pier with boats. Atmosphere was lovely overall, as it was relaxing, has cozy lights and outdoor tables and chairs, as well as few sofas. Games to play outdoors and nice live music and singer was great, strong voice and lively personality. Songs were also fun: some of the most popular songs of last few decades.

If I could rate ten stars I would! If you get a chance to book this cute lil cruise. Do it. Bar...on the boat...nice shady area to get out of the sun. Shell Island was beautiful! When we come back we are booking again!

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the sunset. A beautiful mother and baby dolphin swam next to us. It was a great memory I will forever cherish. The staff was so polite and the drinks were great!

We stopped by to check this really cool place out. We had heard of the pickleball courts and the atmosphere looks like a great place to visit. The weather was really cold out this day, but we will definitely return. Manager was very kind when we asked about it here. We did stop early in the morning to grab coffee and it was the perfect place to sit and relax before our trip back to Georgia. We can’t wait to return.

We rented a pontoon for the day from Rich. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Papa Joe's has a great atmosphere. Everything was simple, easy, well taken care of, and very nicely. They have multiple styles of carts to carry your belongings to the boat, and they will help you! There is no chance of you getting lost on their boats. Very clear navigational instructions. Nice bathrooms on site. Food trucks are present, but we ate on the water. Great time for all!

This is a very quaint, relaxed and family friendly environment. Excellent dock/Bayside view. My sweetheart and I were out there 08/26/23 for the first time. "Kelly and the Healers" were on stage keeping that blues vibe alive for 30years a a true local favorite. With a few different trucks to choose from. We opted for a Philly from "That's what Cheese said" & it was delicious. Papa Joe's has a good variety of beverages for the young and old. Let's not forget the lovely view and the bay breeze that kept us all quite comfy while we enjoyed this venue during the evening hours. We'll definitely be visiting again. Thanks to the staff, vendors, band and mother nature for a wonderful evening.

Nice place to spend an evening. They have live music in the pavilion, a beach, nice lawn for lawn chairs, pic nic tables, a few couches on the water and corn he boards. Tonight they had axe throwing, 4 food trucks, a beer stand and liquor stand. During the day they have boat rentals and shell island tours.

This 3 star rating is solely a review on the food at the Papa Joe's Food truck.

The actual property is awesome. They have this super nice turf area with many lounge chairs, a beautiful view of the bay, and it's dog friendly! Really fantastic place and I am so appreciative of them being here and being dog friendly. Plus live music and more food trucks on Fridays and Saturdays. I absolutely LOVE it here and will continue to visit for as long as they're around!

Again, this 3 star is only based on their food!

Unfortunately the plates we ordered were $15 each. For a $15 dollar meal I am expecting something of much higher quality. The nachos were really really sad. Cheap tortilla chips, canned jalapenos, not homemade cheese, and cold overcooked steak. Yes, cold hard, overcooked steak. it was like gas station nachos with a few more low quality toppings.

If y'all want to try nachos done right, go to Mi Casita Jalisco on 1010 W 15th st. And get the loaded nachos. To the manager/owner of papa Joe's; if you are reading this, I really encourage you to order their nachos to go, bring it to your place, and compare their nachos side by side with your own. It is beyond a night and day difference.

For the shrimp asian bowl, well it's not even a bowl. In fact, none of their bowls come in bowls. I'm not sure why it's called a bowl. Aside from that though, the fried shrimp was drowned in sauce and they plated it before anything else so it was cold and soggy. Who wants cold and soggy shrimp? The overall portion of the "bowl" is very small. very little rice. The white rice was also crunchy and stuck together. Pot stickers also cold 🙁

The slaw flavor was decent, although I recommend they slice their veggies for it thinner. I had big chunks of celery.

I hope the owners take notice of the poor food quality and take action to provide high quality food for the prices they are charging.

I cannot encourage you enough to go and try the nachos at Mi Casita Jalisco. Those people know how to do nachos right, from high quality chips, to fresh steak. Really really delicious. Same price and bigger portion!
