The PERFECT space for literally anything you want to host😍 We just hosted my daughter’s birthday party here and it was awesome. Not only is the space amazing, but so is the owner, Leah! She’s so accommodating and truly wants to make it a great experience for everyone. I also love how close it is to Beaudry because we were able to take all the kids outside to play afterwards. Don’t walk… RUN to book here! You won’t be disappointed!

Space was rented for a murder mystery birthday party! Great open space! Tables on wheels so you can move them around for your purpose. Ramp for disabled entrance. Bathroom on site. Will definitely rent the space again!

It is so upsetting to have to make this review as the space is genuinely lovely. However the way I was treated after the booking was less than satisfactory. After having my baby shower at this venue, there was no contact between seller and I besides this morning. No emails, calls or messages, especially like this. I will admit to not reaching out myself but I had assumed a complete payment had been received day of booking as I had made it a point to do so before leaving the house. This interaction has shown me that I had been mistaken. I left the space just as it was when I got there, clean and orderly. The way I was talked to felt like I had trashed the space and refused to fix it. I was (almost) the perfect customer. This morning I received not only an email but a call reminding me about my due payment. I had previously thought I had paid my last payment the day of the event to get it out of the way but I was clearly incorrect. (You pay a deposit then the rest later on and, in my experience, through an email). Upon receiving the email, I immediately clicked the link and paid my dues. Later on I received a call from Steve requesting my payment to which I called back and left a message notifying him of my payment. Unfortunately I did also receive a very unpleasant and frankly disgusting personal message on Facebook from Annica. I found it not only to include abrupt phrasing but also a condescending and rude comment about my future child. I would like it to be known that yes, my payment was late. How late you may ask? One week. I understand that may seem like a long time but as I stated previously, I assumed payment was sent over the day of because that’s what I did before leaving the house to attend my gathering. Today was when I found out that payment had not been received and harassment began. With no communication within the week, I had no idea that payment was not yet received. You can imagine the shock and horror upon reading such a message sent to me by someone who is supposed to represent a company. I understand the worry of small businesses but not having any communication then to just be struck with personal accusations and distasteful comments about my unborn child has been overwhelming and disheartening. What could have been easily solved by reaching out was tarnished by an act of verbal assault from owner to client. I would not recommend this location until they acquire a more professional standard of business. Side note the chairs are not well suited for older guests or those who have hip or back trouble.

Hosted a baby shower over the weekend and the space was perfect. With a full fridge, drink area, table height outlets (for crock pots) and ability to move tables around as needed, the space suited our needs. The new owner is flexible, communicative and kind (helped carry in a bag or two for set up).

We had a birthday party at Owego Street Makery and it was perfect. The event was even better than I could have hoped for thanks to the beautiful space. Leah has done an excellent job with the decorations and essentials (garbage cans, tables, chairs, fridge, etc.), but more than that she's an absolute pleasure to work with. I emailed her about availability and heard back from her immediately, and each virtual and in-person interaction with her was lovely. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to book it again the future.

Side note: It's also an excellent space for kids AND adults. With Beaudry Park behind the Markery and the dance floor, there's plenty of fun space for the kids while the adults can still have adult space.
